At what height...flowering?

at what height should I begin flowering if I want them to finish at about 36 inches?

At 2 inches now

What is the growth rate if known after vegging
I plant to flower at 5-7 inches. Hoping to hit my range of 28-36 inches.

20/4 hour LND schedule
Nuted every seven days with a two hour flush before renuting fresh resevoir

It all depends what your doing. Ive done sog style 18 day veg and then flowered three foot plants. They were one main stem going up and had only a couple smaaaall side branches but still went three feet high.
What alot of people do in dwc if they want to use the full light footprint and keep the plants low is scrog. Some topping and training will let you fill the lights footprint and the scrog will keep the plants low. Check out so,e threads on scrog and you will see that you can make the plants canopy do whatever you want it to do.

If you like dwc it's totally worth the investment to use the lids with the net pots built into them, if your plant gets too big it can fall through the top in a drop in net pot. Aaaand that sucks when you find the plant bobing in the rez :lol:

that won't get it done. they "normally" at least double. sometimes triple. i personally think sativas stretch more than indicas. and it depends on your light type too. it will stretch more under a weaker light. so lots of variables; not a cut and dry issue.
