Absolutely, it’s the forbidden fruit. Lots of baby boomers are anxious to try cannabis. On my moms death bed her and my aunt joked that she never got to try cannabis. There will be line ups in the beginning. I constantly hear people talking about trying cannabis once it hits mainstream. People are curious and many will try it to see what all the hype is about. The elderly will also be interested in it medicinally, its a hot topic in my fathers assisted living facility, they are always joking with me for a hook up.

Itsme.
You mean you don't help the old fuckers out? ...lol...maybe you should.

Who ever has been waiting in the shadows to ONLY smoke legal weed will not be a big consumer. Eventually maybe
I feel the edibles market will be big for a while.
But then again wait until those new people realize how stoned they get on these new Edibles they got.
I think that will scare many people away because they were not ready for that.

2.19 per gram, for top drawer. But don't stop growing even then because this market is going to "Walmart" in record time. Low prices will chase everyone out of the business. Prices will go to .50 per gram or less. No one will make any money but the big guys don't need to because they made all their money fucking over the stock market. These LP's market cap is so overinflated. Anyway, the entire industry is fucked and in a year and a bit if you are still trying to make a go of it the private police will start going after you, the little guys because they are being paid by the lp's. Soon there will be nothing but shit cheap weed, no one will be willing to pay for good weed. We will have an age of Budweiser weed and if you dare go against big weed they will send their private army after you.

I know this is a dark picture but I am sure it will be darker than this.

Addicted grower here as well tbh. Even if it was free I'd still be growing. Although I'd probably have to move to outdoors in order to justify the cost difference lol.

Knowing that you grew it yourself is a value in itself. It's a tough question in a way. In one way you save on all growing costs ( money saved ) but on the other hand your buying it now ( & who knows what )
The pleasure and satisfaction of using your own grown product or helping others is hard to beat really. Plus it's fun to try new strains.
I suppose I'd have to rethink my grow and switch to lower cost products and a smaller more efficient grow.
I doubt I'd give it up though. Just do it differently.

After giving it alot of consideration. I think my price to stop growing for consumption would be $300 a pound. Or $20 an oz.
I would still grow but it might be for food, tomatoes and peppers. I would even consider mushrooms
Cheers

I don't mind $5-$10 if I'm buying a gram to sample. I'm growing my own regardless so it could be pennies and I still won't buy much more than a gram. I'd like to eventually be good enough that my own grown will match what some veterans of growing can do and that takes years of practice. I'd love to see it be dirt cheap for med patients though. I know too many people that struggle with buying medicine even at "compassion" pricing.
