ATP Under MMAR

You can apply for mmpr if you really really want to, but don't give ANYONE your pink slip. Make copies and have them certified by a Notary.

Is there any point for someone who holds ONLY an ATP to hold onto it if they want to be legal? I ask this because technically speaking, if you had an ATP before it meant that you had to obtain your weed from Health Canada. We all know that stuff was no better than oregano and that people with an ATP went to dispensaries or the black market.
If a person didn't have a designated grower or the right to produce their own is there a point in holding off submitting your pink ATP slip to an LP?

Isn't it likely that any court decision in the future will address only designated growers and those who were allowed to grow their own or is there a chance they will lump all three of categories (ATP, Designated, Grow Own) into one and give those MMAR patients equal rights across the board? Hmmmmmm....

I think I'm just going to hang on to my pink sheet (I haven't had it long enough to just turn into a soulless LP). I refuse to sign up for the MMPR at this time and probably ever. The prices, wait times and quality are all unacceptable far as I'm concerned. If they want to arrest me over a harmless plant that greatly increases my quality of life then so be it. How I can be considered "legal" one day and a "criminal" the next just because I won't give my hard earned money to a corporation is beyond me.

In my own opinion mc.. That decision is totally up to you because there are pros and cons to both sides... First yes you can take your chances and send your pinks ATP to the LP's and hope for the best which under an unjust system would make you legal... Or you can hold on to your pinks and access your medicine from wherever you see fit... As long as you have your pink and the LP's are to expensive/do not have your strain/you juice and they have no water leaf etc. which you use as medicine than all the police can do is take your plants/dried bud etc and if they do take you to court they are violating your costitutal rights as it states on the charter and even you will win in court... If anybody would like to chime in here. Just to verify that would be great. Peace grow strong..
