All right folks! I have my grow closet dialed in finally. This will by my third round and best yet. Here is day one; 3x Aurora Indica, 1x Critical Kush and 1x Pure Power Plant.

Grab a seat if you would like! Feel free to ask questions or leave comments too. Otherwise I will post weekly updates through to harvest and then smoke report. Following this round I plan on trying The Deputy by Greenpoint Seeds .

Seeds were started last week. One Critical Kush and one Chocolate Haze popped but died due to being immature. Last time I use Royal Queen Seeds most likely. Critical Kush is leading the charge however the Aurora Indica are not far behind. Weekly updates still to come but no pictures until flowering is underway. Think I am approximately 52 days from initiating flower, according to the harvest schedule for the current crop.

Oh and the Pure Power Plant is meandering about, not quite as vigorous as I had hoped. We will see how she does when she has her third node grown out.

Nice stuff, looking forward to more updates.
Thanks for stopping by and checking out the infant grow

I'm super excited I have my grow closet all set up for success. I feel like I can almost unlock every bit of genetic potential in these plants now!

Weekly update #2.

Seedlings are beginning to put out more vegetative growth. Roughly 5 weeks to go before flower is initiated.

Temps maxing at 82F, averaging out to 79F.

Weekly update #3.

Plants are established and growing well. Temperature ranges 75F to 84F, from lights off to lights on. Had some minor pH issues a week ago, however that has been worked through. The Critical Kush suffered from a quick bout of pH lockout as well and so the first set of true leaves were damaged as a result. No big deal; plants still growing.

Nothing compelling to post otherwise; pictures will start on the first week of flipping to 12/12.

Veg weekly update #4

Looks like the pH issue caused growth to be stunted. Think these girls are behind by a few days. All new growth is super healthy and growth rates have quickened substantially.

Flowering will be induced on 9/25. Plants were topped today. I am expecting the Aurora Indica and Critical Kush plants to go to 9 weeks. Pure Power Plant may need 10 to 11.

Right after the 9 week plants are harvested, clones from one or more potential mothers of Greenpoint Seeds The Deputy will be flipped. After which I will try Greenpoint Seeds Purple Mountain Majesty!

Still rocking three ladies in the flowering tent: 1 RQS Critical Kush, 1 Nirvana Aurora Indica and 1 Nirvana Pure Power Plant.

Nirvana's Pure Power Plant has been awesome to grow. Seems like there is some great genetic potential here as the vegetative growth has been the best of all the plants I have growing (minus one Greenpoint Seeds The Deputy phenotype). Where the Critical Kush seems to be very sensitive to pH fluctuations and nutrient sensitivity, Pure Power Plant has been the complete opposite. If the smoke and bag appeal is there then this phenotype will certainly be a keeper!

Stretch is on! Ladies are rocking and rolling under a 600 watt HPS and are really growing fast now. Impressed with this Pure Power Plant phenotype every time I check on the garden!

Caught the girls taking a break after lights off. This is flower day 6.

They dont seem as vibrant as they should be. I only say this because i have plants about the same age that are looking rPicture 644.jpg eally happy. The leaves are reaching up, and are very strong. yours seem to be a little droopy imo. Maybe check to see if they are getting enuff air flow and co2.

Yeah the girls just needed water, no big deal. I knew that the moment I saw them. Being under a 600 watt HPS for 12 hours is a lot of work :)

Looking good, seems like one has some nutrient or ph issues though.
Had some pH swings a few weeks back that has been resolved. I assume you were referring to the mottled leaves on the taller plant? From what I can tell now, all three girls are doing great.

Week 3 of Flower begins today!

I also fixed the pH issue -- discovered my pH pen was out of whack and reading 0.5 lower than actual. I'll be sure to keep this particular pen calibrated weekly (was one or twice per month prior).

Critical Kush is leggy, showing off its OG roots.

Pure Power Plant and Aurora Indica are wonderfully bushy and short. Next flower run I will definitely want to fill out the SCROG before flipping to flower (also going to be a single genotype run next time).
