hey hey hey boys and girls. i hope everyone is having a great valentines weekend/day or whatever and however you celebrate it...im not a huge fan of it myself but i know its important to some out there, i hope everyone has a significant other that loves them, loves to be with them and gave them a great day and/or a gift from the heart.
remember, although many will say days like today, and holidays like valentines day are basically ''hallmark holidays'' for card and flowr companies...However, IMO when there are days that are set aside (like today) and other silly holidays for an excuse to show someone how much you care about them or love them I think its great...Although if you really love that person or S.O. then I don't think you really need a day to say hey I love you and I want to be with you forever, or whatever else you want to get across to them...When you are really and truly in love with someone then everyday should be valentines day for you and that person, you dont need a day to be set aside to show your loved one how much you care...that should be everyday, everyday is valentines day.
I feel like days like today are great in the aspect that everyone can show, give, and receive more love, and I feel like in this day and age there just simply isnt enough love to go around and surely not as much as there used to be. If we could all try to treat everyday more like valentines day and noy just forget about it the next day we could all start pushing forward on making this world a better place and more like how this world used to be when people would lend a hand to anyone simply becasue it was the right thing to do...when everyone had morals and cared about others...but....I digress
I am sure your wondering where this is all coming from and im sorry if you were waiting for an update here on the contest, but I wanted to make this post first because it is something that is very important and personal to me...As a final thought I would like to say this...If there are people out in this world in your life that you do love but for one reason or another do not speak with them, do not see eye to eye or for one reason or another just simply dont communicate...let me tell you this...Life is way to short to hold silly personal grudges...To be honest, people that you can TRUST, people that will remain LOYAL to you, actually CARE and have TRUE LOVE for you...will dwindle over the coming years, regardless of your age and who you are. All the money in the world cannot buy you true friendship nor real unconditional love. The only way to acquire these types of things and these types of people is to form a special and rare bond with them, and it is not easy..Not only that, but as time goes on these types of friends and bonds become harder and harder to come by and find...That is the reason why you should reach out to these people that were once your friend or lover and tell and show them how much you care, in doing so, alot of the time they will return the favor and show you what you mean to them...and if not at least you can say you tried which in the end is most important...people can have a change of heart as they grow in maturity and in wisdom. In terms of universal space and time, ie how long the universe has been here, how long our world(earth) has been here is really amazing...In terms of our silly little human lives we are nothing more then a literal a blink of an eye in the time that this thing we call reality has been here...although we are here now, before we know it and almost inevitably the human race will no longer exist or be here, and if it does it will be so much different than what we perceive as normal today in the present. What I am getting at here is that we only get so much time on this rock, on this reality and this 3/4 dimensional plane...We should ALL take advantage of it while we can, we all need to love and laugh and find these true types of love and friendships...without them, life is a very lonely, depressing, barren and sad thing.
so to wrap this up, if you have read this far, I thank you very much for taking the time out of your busy day to read it in full. Not only that but I hope by reading this it has made you think a little bit about who you are the the people that you love and hell, it might even persuade you to reach out to that person that hurt or betrayed you in some way and make amends with them and let it be water under the bridge...No one is perfect, no one will be able to connect or see eye to eye with every single person they have cut ties with but ifyou could do that we even one person then I feel for me personally, satisfied...I hope this speech has made someone here realize a little bit how important these relationships are, I hope you all have a great day and great valentines day...I hope you all find someone that you can love and build a strong bond with and maybe even start a family with them, because thats what life is really all about people, FAMILY. howyd all, i hope everyone had a great valentines day/weekend and spent theri time with people they love and are special to them. I just want to let everyone know that I have picked a winner for the outdoor category and am down to 2 or 3 entries for best indoor category...I want to announce them both at the same time which is why i haveb een dealyign the announcment...it wasnt to hard to pick the outdoor winner simply because there was about 5 or 6 outdoor entries as opposed to the inside entires which were numerous. So picking the outsdie winner was really quite easy as opposed to the indoor, but anwyas, im gonna try to get the winners posted up soon, bare with me boys and girls

okie dokie ladies and gentlemen. first I want to thank everyone for their patience. Its been a busy time for me but I dont like making excuses either way I think I have alot of the good info yall been waiting for. first off lets all congradulate stew for winning the best indoor for the contest but, as of the rest here is some other news and announcements. first off I want to thank everyone fo particpating, all the entries were great, and if i could of picked everyone to win I would have, unfortuantley i cant though and I had to choose and beleive me, I went through this 30 plus page thread more than 3 or 4 times trying to find the very best entries and the other thread which is over a 100 pages at least twice. it took alot of time than you would think, honestly about 4 hours just tonight...ive been on here since about 6pm EST doing this. but enough of that here they are
