Auto Flowering Jock Horror & Bag-Seed Grow

This will be my first real grow. 5 Jock Horror Seeds(auto flowering) and a few Bag Seeds as well that I got from some mid-grade herb. Yes I know there's a possibility of the genes of the bag seeds being trash but idgaf. Ill Start off with CFLs then throw a 600 mh light on for a month, then ill switch the bulb to a 600 watt hps for a month. I'll post new pictures and updates every week so feel free to impart knowledge and pointers. LETS GO!

I used the paper towel method and put them under the bed with a heater going on for like a minute every 10 minutes to keep the area a teeny bit warm.

For the Bag Seeds, I planted them in Jungle Growth's Flower and Vegetable Planting Mix. Im aware of the negative reviews people have posted on here about Jungle Growth but after reading up on the contents of it on the back of the bag, and feeling the texture of the soil, I decided to ignore all of that. People talk a lot about what they don't know about, they'll argue you down with info that they have only read on a forum but not actually tested out for themselves. I know a few people who've grown some DANK in Miracle Grow Potting soil and you all KNOW how bad people down talk that on here. So, eff people lol.

After putting the beans that popped into the soil, I started with some 13 watt CFLs that were weak and of the wrong spectrum before I switched to some daylight 100 watt equivalent CFLs that give off this BRIGHT WHITE light. Here are the CFLs I started with, giving off that weak yellowish light.

Like a rookie, I planted them like half an inch under the soil, and I had the soil too close to the top, so they shot upward quicker than the roots shot downward. Damn. I transplanted some to party cups and worked some blood meal(13-0-0) into the top inch of the soil and watered them.

They look um... interesting. I found a seed in some Kush and planted it also. One of the bag seeds is doing REALLY well and I've started to give it extra attention, and I put the other seeds in a window for now. Im getting the 600 watt hps next week and im building a grow box in the place of where everything is now.

The big one is the one I was talking about thats doing the best so far, the other one is a seed I got from some GOOD kush, I dont know exactly what strain it was but if its a female I plan to take clones from her, if its a male i will pollinate a bud on a pineapple chunk plant(future grow journal )

These are some shots of the bag seeds b4 I gave em some Blood Meal and put them in the window.

This is something I rigged up for my favorite plants for the next 2 days while my Jock Horror Seeds Germinate.

I used 60% Pure Organic(with Neem Cake) Planting Mix, and mixed in perlite, cow manure, worm castings, blood meal, and sphagnum peat moss.

The Pots b4 I Mixed the perlite into the medium real good. They are like 3.8 gallons.

I transplanted that good bag seed plant into a 3 gallon pot. (with all the new amendments)

You can't tell from the pic, but all 5 beans popped.

I planted the Jock Horror seeds. This will be my setup until next week when I get the light and build the box.

Here's the bag seed I transplanted. Its now at day 21. For the last few days its had 1 100watt equivalent daylight cfl right over the top of it. The other Pic is one of the Jock Horror plants at week 1. Im putting them all in a Grow Box in 2 days. Stay tuned.

Check out the other litle plants growing beside my JH lol. Im going to pull them out.

Here are some pics of that bag seed at day 26. Im really interested in seeing how this one turns out. It looks to have some good genetics so far and its def an Indica. Im waiting on my mylar to come in so that I can complete the box, which right now is 4ft tall, 3ft wide, and 6ft long. After getting the 600 watt light in there I realized it need a bit more space so im going to make it 2 feet taller, so it'll be 6 feet tall. Im going to put a chamber for rooting clones in it, as well as a chamber for the mother Plants, and the Middle will be for Flowering. Im making a homemade carbon filter also to go with my DIY exhaust system because I can already smell that 1 plant when I come thru the front door smh. Next post will be about Building the Box and constructing the exhaust system.

I came to the conclusion that that bag seed thats leaving the rest of them is a hybrid with more indica than sativa genes.

I was in the middle of rearranging things to make space for some more bag seeds. The 3 on the right are 3 of the bag seeds and the 5 on the left are all Jock Horror Auto Fem
