Autoflower not autoflowering??

I have 6 autos planted and 3 are for sure females but one plant has not shown its sex yet. All the other plants have shown there sex (2 males/3 females). The last one is at least 20% bigger than the other females and it has been over 10 days since the last female started to show her sex. They were all the same seeds from the same company. My question is could this be an autoflower that is not auto flowering and I have to change the light cycles to get it to show its sex???? If that is the case would it hurt my other plants to go from 20/4 to 12/12 as I only have one light and one grow room. Or do I just let it be for a little while longer??? Lokking for some good advice or anyone who has had this happen to them befor. Thanks!

it has been 31 days since it sprouted. I have had some problems with getting the PH of my soil in the correct spot but i dont think that would hold it back from showing sex. P.S. I use FF oceans and forest soil strait up. Learned from that one! lol

I have some NL autos doing the same thing. One is way much bigger and flowered later than all the others. Be patient and don't go 12/12.

hmmmmmm as hipster says be patient ........ 31 days does seem long ... but maybe as you said little problems early on might have set it back a touch.... just wait it out and i'm sure it'll sort itself out

If it does not show here in the next week I am going to pull it. I am leaving for a few days for thanksgiving and dont want to come home to a bunch of pollinated females. That would really suck!

it should take a couple of weeks from showing itself male before it could release pollen.... but you gotta do what you think is best, and doing nothing is often a mistake :-)

I don't know who your breeder is, but I had the same trouble with Ganja Dwarf lowryder fron amsterdam seeds. They never did auto. had to photoperiod them. There are actually quite a few people having this problem. i think it is unstable genetics fom releasing seeds too fast to the public. I would definetly be up for listening to any comments ref this

I had the same problem with the ganja dwarfs... I went like 40 days untill I said fuck it and threw it in 12/12. week or two later pistols started shootin out and bud spots formed. Also a buddy and I started som autos at the same timeish for outside, Mine were done in like 80 days from seed outside, his turned into 5ft plants that didn't flower untill fall.

I want to add that everytime I've grown autos the males have shown up before the females. Im not saying that's how it is or how they genetically work out but in my experience the males were always first. Id just guess it's not auto'in.

yes. I have grown autos 12/12 from seed, 18/6 and 24hr. 18/6 to me seemed the best. I have heard and seen myself that they love the dark! you can grow 12/12 but your going to diminish your yield. I can't really give you an accurate estimate of the difference in yield for 12/12 to 18/6 way to many factors involved. But I personally just leave em in the corners of the veg tent or lately for me I just throw em in the garden as somethin cool to look at but i still prefer photo's.

And with that one maybe try to just pull it outta the tent 6hrs before light goes out to give it 12/12 for a couple weeks. then throw it back it... It will either re-veg or continue to flower (Im not sure on this as I don't know anyone who has) but maybe you could try and if it reveg's just keep in maintained untill the others are done then just flower that one. just an idea
