Autoflower question

Been thinking about this autoflower grow and wondering when they say 65-70 days from seed are they actually talking about from seed or are they talking about 65-70 days after the sex is revealed. 14-20 days and then the 65-70 days

In my experience they are talking about start to finish. But, auto genes can be kinda like mutts. The phenos can vary pretty widely for many I've tried. The way I see it is gauge it by their other strains. Indicate dominate can be as fast as 8 week strains while sativa does can go 13 weeks or more. But, each seed can vary a little and people trim at their own preferred level of maturity.

The breeders say from germ to harvest, a quick 1 would be 70 days , start to finish, which is the attraction, but , extreme skill is required to get the best out of em, sum grows on here , dont even yield an oz, but the best ive seen is 2 pound, in a 100 days

But yes , the time frame the breeders spesk of , is start to finish
Good experienced growers , love em, average growers , hate em, they are tricky

good luck

i was under the impression that autos were easier to master for new growers? this is what a lot of the seed banks say anyway. got 3 n.l autos and 2 w widow fems. going now. new to growing weed. but veteran gardner.

Autos are not easy, any mistake, will harm the end result, & the veg period is very important, looking at some of the good grows , 1 thing stands out great lights = return

& yep ive read all the breeders comments.........& your a lot better off asking a question on here , were youll get a honest answer, all the best

what kind of mistakes you talking'? they're all roughly 3in. high and look great. got them in coir perlite under a king 1200w led about 3ft. above them. theyre in fabric 5gal. pots on a 20/4 light cycle.started them on 1/2 dose flora nutes with cal/mag . what should i be careful with? I'm going to lst soon but thats it.

Your heading the right way, coco is good at holding nutes , so be carefull there, check your ph , u need about 5.5-6, i mix my nutes & let sit for 24 hrs , then test ph...........lst is great & autos love it, start soon, youll be amazed how they respond............if your tent drops in temp when lights off , think about a 7-1 cycle, which will stop that, & u get 21 light 3 dark, it works well............heres a autopounder @ about day 53 from germ , she copped as much lst as i could..............the 2nd pic is a auto skunk getting lots of lst
good luck , your on the right path

I'm a fairly new grower (only 2 successful grows with decent buds) I tried again with my Bagseed as per usual and ended up with an auto. I'm not exactly having an easy time. It's real finicky with water, nutes, and however much you want to snap off those used up leaves dont or you'll lose a week's worth of bud growth. It's been up and down for me but poontanger is right lol they're fickle bitches.

Mine was suggested 70 days from seed , I'm on day 44 and can see it going a couple weeks past that . Hopefully I'm wrong lol

Some growers on here have reported 100 days, so i dunno about these autos, you can get a real good yield out of a photo @ 120 days, in saying that there is a grow on here that got a kilo dry from 1 auto, the skill level there is parramount
Happy gardening

thanks for the info ! i kinda made things harder on myself by putting 2 w.w photos in there so at some point ill have no choice to go 12/12. how will that affect the autos? shouldn't make it much different. maybe less yield with the autos.

Light is a heavily disgussed topic on Auto's..........some say 24-0 , others say they need a break
It really depends on how much room you have & how long u can veg the photos for!!
a 12-12 light wont do a huge favor to a auto, but if its late in there cycle, youll be ok
& your not the 1st to do this, IMO its either 1 or the other, photo's can be forgiving, Auto's wont forgive

A kilo would be mega lol I'm being a little less ambitious and aiming for 2-3 oz ..

Smells good though and starting get frosty so if the qualities there I can forgive the yield :)

It was a AutoUltimate by Dutch Passion...........& i think a 1000 watt hps, but only 1 in the grow, there is a video of the grow on here somewhere..........the skill with that grow , must have been faultless
