Yea it's that bulb but the shape of it is slightly different

And I'd say the grow space is around about 2ft × 2ft give or take...

I do have smaller cfl I can also put in but I wanted the dual spec but didn't know if it would of been enough but I think you have answered my question haha. Thank you

Ive seen some good grows here with CFLs and I started with them but switched to led shortly after because they were too hot for my grow space.

Now I'll prolly get shit on for this but I'd suggest getting a cheaper blurple LED light to start with. I used a couple mars hydros 300s with great results the blurple just isn't as efficient as they could be.

If you wanna stick with CFLs I'd suggest getting another 200watt bulb and fixture as one bulb will most likely not be enough to get you the results your looking for

Yea I was looking at the led lighting and Mars hydro 300 but as the cfl setup is a little bit cheaper may suit me better.

as I said I will only grow one plant for now as I'd like some experience before I starting buying bigger and better really..

Could I mix one of these with a 200w cfl has anyone experimented with a mix of these? CFL would also be a dual spec
you could add those but you may be better off adding white leds.my experience with LEDs has not been good. and horticulturalist and the green house community does not like them. http://www.littlegreenhouse.com/guide3.shtml#chart. you could use an HPS light for flowering https://www.amazon.com/dp/B01KMW7RYM/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_nS_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=AW7UKM9ED6GM&coliid=I16MXY1M60S5MV&psc=1 and since this fixture uses a magnetic ballast you can upgrade to CMH with a simple bulb change at a later time.you have many options and that can be confusing but take your time and do your research. talk to other growers and people at nurseries, garden centers and hydro stores and find out whats popular among growers. many of us started with CFLs and it is a great way to learn how to grow

LED'S are changing everything! How can you diss em just cause you might have used the wrong type or just didn't use them right. From the link you posted I don't see shit backing up which lights they tested and they're results. Are they expensive? Yes but there are diy options which cuts the price in half and they are still, new you can put out more light than a hps or CFL with half the wattage and heat I don't see how they are bad in any way,
