Average Temp.

Hey people,
I've got a box that I built using plywood, dim. are 3'6"w x 5'6"t x 4'd. It's about week 8 of vegging and I just switched from 6 4' t5 sunblasters to a 600w hps. The avg. temp. was about 75 degrees F with the floro's but now it's about 82 or 83 degrees F with the hps light. Is that still safe? If not what temp. should I be aiming for?

Nope not using co2, but is there a cheap fix for adding co2?

imo there is nothing cheap when it comes to quality buds...sure there a few supplements you can do...but the best is a co2tank with reg...peace az

What you can do for cheap co2 is:


Get a water bottle half full.
Poke holes in the cap with a push pin (3-5)
I've used bakers yeast but brewers yeast would be better.
Sugar.
Water balloon. I poke 2-3 holes in the top of the balloon.

Put a few tablespoons of sugar in the water bottle with the water. Add yeast put on cap. Put water balloon over cap.

TA DA.... A slow release CO2 Dispenser

Should last for 2-3 days. When Balloon gos flat its done. Make new ones as needed.

And personally, 82-83 is a good temp. My first grow was in the high 80's and turned out ok. My grow right now is 82 with the light on and I have no co2.
