Back to the issue, Rand Paul is an Idiot. Libertarians are idiots. Their form of government, (Or lack of it), would never work. With all the complications of running a society, If we all walked away from government we would have complete chaos. I can agree with not letting government take away our citizens rights, but the facts are, everyone in the country, Legally, deserves a few things. Lets start with Health care. It should be a right, not a priveledge for the rich. Lets go with income, there should be a way for all citizens to make a decent living, jobs should be available. Corporations that do business with and in the USA should be required to hire Americans and provide a liveable wage. Small businesses should be able to provide for their employees and still make a reasonable profit. These simple things are do-able if we reign in the greedy factors in the society, wall street crooks and banksters for example, lobbyists should be taken out and shot. It should be the death penalty to give or accept a bribe concerning government and business. Insiders should be let out, for good. There is a way to make the society better for all and make it work. Unfortunately for the rich, it would definently require giving back the major portion of their wealth. I also believe that people given a choice between a life of crime and a decent paying job, would choose the job. I believe that everyone, given the chance, would want to better themselves. Most that are thieves and low lifes, have never had the real chance to have a decent job. Those that chose not to apply themselves, given the chance, would be dealt with severely. I definently don't have all the answers, But I am pretty sure there is a way to make this a better and more responsible society. By giving all citizens the chance to succeed, this country would again be a beacon of light to the world.
