Just harvested 10 Barneys Vannilla kush and pinnapple chunk 2 days ago they are all currently hanging and dring. Pinnaple took 60days to finish. Kush took 70. Using 2x 600watt HPS with F.F.O.F. soil and the 6 F.F. Nuit packages 3 liquids 3 soluables. I will re post picks of finished with a smoke report. Sunday or Monday

Thanks very much, not many people reply with a truthful answer let alone with photos. Symetre:weed::weed::leaf::leaf:

I received a clone of vanilla kush from a friend and mothered her for awhile. My experience with it was that it was very sensitive to my nutrients (General Hydro). I must add that I was probably over-feeding, but out of the 7 different strains I had, Vanilla Kush showed the only negative reaction. I still flowered some of the clones even though they were a little burnt and I was still satisfied. The taste wasnt the greatest but it was a nice high and a very pretty bud and dense...never had such a nicely compacted bud before. Sorry no pics though

I had a buddy growing this, a shit load of this, and just off looks and smell of the plant in flower I'd give it a 'meh'

Never did get to smoke it though, so my input is only from veg/flowering, a grower's perspective, not smoking.

I will say it had nice branching though. He had one in veg still that was like maybe a foot-ish tall, and it had a branch from the dirt all the way up to level with the head. Cloned easy.

was their smell pungent? would two 24inch VK's stink a room at any stage of growth or flower? wanting to grow quietly and with minimal stink

:leaf: I'm still waiting for some plant photos that are legible and clear. I am just getting ready to change my seedlings into their permanent growing containers and I wish for some more constructive comments from some people who have had good luck with a outdoor grow of Vanilla Kush ??? symetre

I grew one plant out door last year. great smell, though not so much vanilla but very good. Doing another one under better conditions, about half way through. Wicked Stretch!

I am just harvesting 1 this morning, harvested one last week too & will harvest 2 more next week or so. First one hermied I guess as I have a few ripe seeds (10). Smell was okay while growing, harvesting it will almost make you gag it is so strong. Hermie plant I have smoked for a week & I like it very much. Buds on the first one and the one I harvested today weren't as dense as I would like, but the remaining plants have giant colas and very dense buds & stinkier. I LSTed them/Supercropped and all the branches ended up generally the same height as I bent & or tied down the branches as they exceeded the height of the other branches. I have 10 clones that should be ready to transplant in another few days (I hope). I have 2 outdoors as well. So far it has rained to no end the last week & looks like more rain today. One of the plants is very yellow, as soon as it dries a bit I am going to feed it again with FF nutes & with a little cal/mag. Be very careful feeding these plants they are extremely sensitive to Grow Big & Big Bloom. Don't feed more than 1/2 of what it says on the FF feeding chart. I think they are pure indica so they should be mold resistant.

one of my mates grows this all the time and it is a very nice strain, smell is sweet with that hint of vanilla, the buds are like rocks and covered in resin, crispy on the outside and sticky on the inside, the smoke is sweet, smooth, hard hitting and long lasting. everything you could ask for in a strain. and he flowers it for 70 days then leaves it in darkness for 3 whole days because of the extra resin production, this is the only strain iv seen it work to this extent on.
