I had a failed attempt the first time round trying to seed a Berry this way. I believe I may have waited a bit too long to start misting.

I know for a fact this stuff works because I did it with an AKR. So here we go AGAIN....

I started this project on 2/24. Germed a couple Berry Ryders. From here they went into red cups then into 1 gallon containers.

And here is the mist. Tiresias Mist. 1 oz. cost $19 on Amazon. For Autos, Tiresias Mist says to start misting when the plant is 5-6 inches tall.

I had to decide where I was going to isolate this thing. My 12/12 room is busy and besides, I want this Berry on 24/0. I found an old veg cab, cleaned it up, and butted it up to the 12/12 room. CFLs will work just fine for this project.

And here are the two Berrys. I will eventually choose one to seed.

They are growing fast. I forgot how well cfls work. I simply have a mix of 2700k and 6500k. Here they are today. When these hit 5-6 inches tall, I will start misting. Another week or so. The one on the right is a little bigger. That's the one I'll use. The other one will have to go in the 12/12 room. Oh well.

I think you should wait for them to show sex...even if they are fem seeds
Ya I don't know. That was my thought last attempt on a Berry and nothing happened. Yes these are fems.

Tiresias Mist says:

Photos: Start misting 7 days prior to the flip and at least 7 days after.
Autos: Start misting when the plant is 5-6".

Pullin up a chair on this one highlow good to see u starting up anotha and good luck
Nice to see you dream. Ya I'm going to hit a fem Berry this round with the mist. Hopefully it works this time. I'll save some pollen and dust a fem AKR.

Next I'll probably work on COC regs.

Good luck this time.

Does TM burn the plant where it is sprayed? Well made CS shouldn't but I'm not sure how TM is made, or what exactly it is. If it doesn't burn the plant, you can start spraying whenever you want but the purpose of waiting till you see preflowers, is so you know if your plant is a hermie before spraying it. Otherwise, you maybe getting hermie pollen and thinking it all came because of the TM, which could lead to a bad genetic line.

What's up Hazy. :bigjoint: No it does not burn the plant in my experience.

I'll let this get a couple inches taller and start misting. 3-4-5 more days.

How's it growin'?

It sounds like decently made CS. Is it clear/amber? If you have a laser, you should try to shine it through and see if you see the beam.

So, is it pure Colloidal Silver at 50ppm?

Do you still need to wait for the male flowers and be carefull with that pollen? Do you polinate the same branch to misted or a different branch?

With CS I read the misted branch cannot be smoked ( don't know why if people also drink CS ). Is this the case with this TM product as well?

Regarding PPMs, I used 30ppm CS one on a clone of an Auto Royal Dwarf, got flowers but they never matured and then the pant turned brown and died. I think the flowers appeared too late for an auto. When you get this pollen, do you pollinate the same auto strain? Or a different plant in an early stage?

did some reading yesterday to answer my questions.

- I think I shouldn't have used a clone or even attempted to clone an auto.
- I think you shouldn't smoke the misted bud. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Argyria
Argyria happens usually from long term exposure to silver compounds. I really don't think one bud is going to do it.
There are many people who have been ingesting colloidal silver as a mineral supplement for years without any effect. Taking excessive amounts of CS will make the skin turn blue over time, really large amounts can affect the lens of the eye. One bud just ain't enough for Argyria. Besides the plant and time has probably already processed the compound and there is really only a negligible amount left.

from what ive seen aslong as youre in the 60 ppm range -100 ppm you are good ...... mileage may vary plant to plant
A lot of store bought "CS" sprays, are reported to have much much higher ppm than needed, but well made cs can work very well at as low as 15ppm if applied often enough (a few times a day).

The benefit of using low ppm cs is that you can apply it multiple times, which doses the same amount of CS, but in a more uniform, and less stressful manner. You can coat the entire plant with homemade cs without ay burning, but some store bought stuff will ruin any leaves it comes in contact with.

There are dangers other than argyria, when smoking treated bud. The bud has on/in it, millions of silver particles. You are inhaling heating these up, and then inhaling them.

Some people make edibles out of the buds from a plant in which only 1-2 branches were treated, because ingesting the cs would be similar to drinking it, whereas smoking it isn't. However, they don't use the actual treated buds themselves. A lot of people won't smoke anything off of a plant that was sprayed anywhere.
