Those buds look great! Have you tried any bkr f1 buds yet? They look frosty.
Oh ya. Been tokin on it for the last month or two. I vape out of a DaBuddha and it definitely does the job. Makes great BHO.

This particular plant is a great combo of AKR and Berry Ryder. Real frosty. Buds on this plant are smaller-medium size, but are rock hard. Just needs a lot of work.

Sweet dude! I like seeing a grower grow more and 1 or 2 plants at a time and different strains make it even better. My hat is off to you sir.:weed:

The second picture has insane bud structure! Very cool. Is it a Berry Ryder?
Exactly what it is my friend. And it's hard as hell. Some day soon I'm gonna take a vid of me throwing a big hard Berry ryder bud at a box or window or tile or...............something. That's how hard these are. I know it will do some damage. Smells so damn good too.

And to keep with the original thread title........Yep, I misted another Berry. I stopped misting a week or two ago and forgot about it. Was peeking around today and noticed:

11_10_15z.PNG 11_10_15a.JPG 11_10_15.JPG

I misted the two lower branches on the right side.

Has anyone here tried cutting the misted branches off the plant right before flowers open and sticking them into a cup of water then isolating it somewhere safe until pollen drops? (I know that's a bad sentence.)
How long will the branch continue to grow once it's cut? A few days? A week? Longer?

Since I have two branches, I think I will do it both ways to be safe...........to be continued.

Awesome! It looks great. I'm big on bud density, so that's nice too see. They also have a cool blueish hue that's different than a lot of other typical purple buds (might just be your camera, but they definitely look unique).

I tried the cutting a branch and putting it in water method, but it didn't work. Not sure why. Other peopel do it though, so I would think it is possible. I do think it's easier with natural males, that produce a ton of pollen, vs reversed fems that sometimes produce very little pollen, and require you to pick at the flowers to harvest it.

I'm interested in seeing how it works for you, if you end up trying it.

It worked on both branches so I'll cut one off a little early and stick it in water. I don't really need this Berry pollen. It is/was a backup.

BKR f1s

I'll be misting a selected BKR f1 within a couple weeks. Lot of variety. Time to get this program rolling and start a different thread.

Hey HLG, i read in 1 of your posts somewhere, that you have a 400 & 600 hps in your tent & depending on whats happening, as to which you use,,,,,,question ,,,,,if you were to grow 1 auto under a light & nothing else in the tent would you expect a better yield from using the 600 or in your opinion would the 400 do the same job ??

Definitely the 600. It penetrates deeper into the plant which makes the lower buds more dense.

Now if you did some lst on that plant you could do REAL well with a 400 too.

If you are choosing to buy either a 400 or 600, I would go 600. I started with the 400 years ago and upgraded. Now I have both. Mine is one where you can adjust it. I can't remember if it's 250, 400, and 600. I've always kept mine on 600. Also keep in mind the heat. The 600 would be hotter.

Couple suggestions.

htgsupply.com This is where I bought my ballasts and hoods. Also the 1 gallon grow bags I use.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B005HJJ7TY/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 This is a great bulb.

You will probably end up growing more than one plant at a time in the future. I would suggest the 600 dimmable. :bigjoint:
