Best Combination of CoCo Mediums For Hempy Buckets

Hey getting ready to start my first grow with hempy bucket idea...Im thinking bout maybe using smart pots instead maybe airpots let me know what u think biout this idea..Also wanna use maybe coco nuts to keep it all one line of product im wierd like that..Let me know exactually what i need please and show me ur grows with hempy bucket idea or coco grows...Thanks for any input...

I'd like to hear how a Smart Pot could be used in a "hempy bucket" system...

my prefered mix
33% coco
33% coco not
33% perlite course
top drip with hydro-organic "sugar peak Nutes" with 1.5 gal air pot

Im doing a hempy bucket with 70/30 coco/hydroton. but i see mainly people using 70/20/10 coco/perlite/vermiculite

Yeah i like coco and perlite i think, do i need the vermiculite..

No the vermiculite is not needed, but does help hold water and helps balance soils with minerals


Perlite helps hold water, but doesnt supply any extra minerals.

I think im gonna go with JUST RIGHT EXTRA and add more large perlite to it..Only gonna use 1gallon buckets maybe 1.5 or 2 depends..Keep in mind its just free autos from TUDE have them in straight perlite in 16oz red plastic cups now..How do u guys transplant into bigger hempey buckets....Just cut the bottom off the cup and place onto top on new soil or what???

Auto's should be planted in their final container.

Im always seen people transplant them into bigger buckets just not with perlite...

I've seen people do a lot of things, that doesn't mean they're doing them correctly.

WHAT? Who said I grow auto's? Fuck auto's, I was just giving some friendly advice... I grow real weed.

Edit: I don't do hempy buckets either, Smart Pots all the way.
