Best DWC nutrients and your reasons?

I'm using Technaflora recipe for success but my two DWC plants are stressed and some shits all fucking wacked out so I couldn't tell you how they're working. I like the system and how simple it is though and I've heard great things about it so I'm going to stick with it and try to figure out my pH issue. We'll see how the soil plants that are about 7 days old take to them in a couple more weeks.

General hydroponics. floragro, florabloom, floramicro, calimagic and nectar. as well as h202 every 2 res changes. ph stays stable, no brownish roots, perfectly healthy plants... i'll stick to those for a while

I never heard of anyone using floramicro and it not staining the roots a little brown, but I like it. The only thing I don't like about the GH brand is the salt,it just seems excessive, but works good.

What I use and why.

1: What I use is AN PH Perfect Always.

2: The reason is obvious. 1 It's the cheapest stuff I can get at my hydro store. I mean I purchased AN grow ph perfect A and B and ph perfect AN flower A and B. And each 10.2 Gallons. And it cost 120.00. I mean come on 40.8 gallons for 120 is pretty good. So they are not costly ever.

Also with them being ph perfect that's a plus.

And lastly because simple. I mean two bottles A and B for grow and then two more for flower. It doesn't get much simpler.

Lastly Dyna is second. It's just as good as AN in every way and slightly more cheap. The only problem is it not PH Perfect.

Best nutes that I ever used are GH. Took some time to find them through trial and error. and to me they are like the Holy Grail of nutes. Simple and very effective.

I just don't like floranova cuz it seems thick and muddy and stains the roots brown... and there are other nutes just as good for same price that don't have that problem.

I used GH for two years straight using Lucas Formula, and never had a problem with browning roots! Take a look at my pics or grow journals. I have a couple pics of very healthy root systems and they are a very nice white color... Just my 2 cents... Cheers to all!

GH is brown, and the stronger you mix it the browner it gets. GH turns your roots brown...period. even healthy slime-free roots turn brown in GH. Though this is normal and an accepted fact among GH users, I'd like to try something that doesn't stain the roots. Brown staining on the roots is an indication of something the plants aren't using that is buidling up on the roots. I don't want that anymore, so I'm trying AN next and will try something else if I'm not blown away by it.

IMHO, res environment has a stronger influence on root health than nute brand A vs. nute brand B. Keep you res water cold and oxygenated and you won't get slime.

I read more and see that it's GH flora Nova that stains the roots. I never used it. Like I said, I used the Lucas formula. The only other additives were some super thrive during veg and Epsom salt during flower. PH around 5.5 and i was set. My grows we're fantastic, as you'll see if you look at any of my pics or journals. :). Cheers!

Jungle Juice three part - Grow, Micro, Bloom...inexpensive and good quality. I'm getting very nice results in DWC
I use jungle Juice 3 part and seems to grow great sometimes, other times my roots and res get slimed and cause roots to slowly rot. Anyone know if rapid start and aquashield could be causing the slime, im assuming its the JJ nutes as people seem to say they slime.

Like a few others have mentioned, lucas formula (GH Micro+Bloom 8/16 or FNB 8ml/gal) works very nicely,
is very simple, and easy on the wallet. I've run it in the past, with very nice results.

Indeed this is true. Hate this. I have great roots but stained brown...

flora nova for me, I get it cheap on amazon. I use half of what i'v used with any other product, it is super concentrated. so you have to get used to not over feeding. it will wilt some strains if you give bloom to early (GH will tell you that). I use flora nova grow, bloom and cool bloom and that's it. I get very good results. yes it looks like sludge, but it doesn't build up on air stones because there is no guano. mixes up like a tea. I get absolutely no salt build up on my air stones with it. I can't say that for dyna-gro which I liked and used for over a year. yes it does turn your roots brown, but if you have a hang up on your roots being white then by some hydro rush or something lol. this is a great product. at first I didn't like it but then I got used to how to use the product right. I tried at first to grow all natural and it was a pain in the ass! lol. so this is as close as I can get half natural(without the guano) which is what to me makes all natural such a pain. so to sum up. I like it because it is one part and I can buy it just as cheap as most products and use half the amount. no it's not cheap at the hydro store, but it is online. I also like that it is half natural without the guano.

Went from Lucas to Flora Nova. Might try something else soon as I don't like how it stains my roots. But it grows beautiful plants.

The most impressive nutes I use is Great White and DM's Liquid Light and Saturator. I also throw some CalMag+ in there as well as a few secret weapons. :weed: :hump:
