best female to make ratios

I understand that sub and others give you the conditions for germ and say it helps with the ratios...and I'm sure it does...I'm just wondering from all of you guys and gals who run subs gear, did you have any certain strains you have had better luck with..iv heard a few ppl saying they get quite a few hermies as well...if anyone had any info on that as well I would so greatly appreciate your feedback...I'm going to be running locomotion and cheesequake but was looking for another strain and I'm trying to gather all the good and bad points I can find to make my decision...Thank you all

Overall I have a favorable female to male ratio with TGA. I've been unlucky with Timewreck getting 2 of out 20 but this is an outlier in my own personal experience.

I've had several TGA strains get hermies but it doesn't affect the overall quality. I've grown both Locomotion and Cheese Quake and had no hermies on any of them, good news for you. Hope this helps, good luck.

Yeah actually that really helped me...I appreciate the feedback a lot...did you happen to grow outdoors?...I'm just wondering if you had hood success with the lm and cq what you fed em and how much...trying to figure out if they r heavy feeders ...really just trying to figure out anything I can about them...anything will help

I've grown Locomotion and Cheese Quake indoor only. I had great success with Locomotion, probably my favorite strain ever. I had 5 females out of 8 planted seeds. All were heavy yielders, excellent taste and flavor. A couple leaned more towards the Timewreck father, while the others were more Blueberry Diesel.

As for Cheesequake, I got 3 out of 5 females. All 3 were almost identical. Yield was good, and all were potent. They have a funky smell that I personally did not care much for (must have been the cheese). I'd like to grow here again someday, however. The first pic is a Cheesequake I grew, and last two pics are of a Locomotion I harvested this past November.IMG_2566.jpg IMG_0017.jpg IMG_0018.jpg

If you're doing outdoor, look into doing Cuvee. I had three going this past summer outdoor and all were amazing. Very heavy yielders with rock hard nugs.

What was the height on the cuvee. How many times did you top?...I have 45 gal and 100 gal smart pots I'll be using. ..and I'll be training them ...I always grow a few small plants ..like 5 or 6 ozers ...but I love growing those big bastards ....Nothing like seeing a few lbs blowing in the wind

haha, yes it's such a great feeling, isn't it. 2 of the 3 Cuvee's got very tall and stretchy, while the other one remained very short and stocky. These were grown in 15 gallon fabric pots and got around 6 feet tall, and 5 feet wide. They yielded close to 2 pounds each. The giant pots you'll be using you should get considerably more than that. They were all topped 3-4 times. The smell was out of this world, I can't wait to run her again in the future.

Dang...that sounds killer...I honestly didn't even think of trying that strain ...I was thinking of going with Jesus og or plushberry ...only cause iv heard more about them...if it not too much of a bother could you tell me what you fed them and the amount ...even how often...I'm sorry I ask so many questions lol buy I supposed that's what this place is for...

haha, no worries man, I enjoy talking about this kind of thing, it's why we're here!

I'm currently growing Jesus OG for the first time so I don't have much input on her. I haven't grown Plushberry but I have grown Ace of Spades several times, which shares the same mother (Black Cherry Soda). Both Ace and Plushberry were discontinued so good luck getting a hold of either of those.

Which strains are you asking about specifically regarding feeding? This varies greatly, but for medium feeders usually 1.0 EC during mid flower is enough, figure half that for a veg plant. I almost always feed every time plant needs watering. If leaves look a little light, I'll increase the dose, if too dark, I back off a little. Give it a week to take affect, then readjust if necessary. You're growing outdoor, right? Hope this helps!

Forgot to mention, that feeding EC is for a soilless mix, like ProMix or Sunshine. I use a little more a hydro setup and less if using a fortified soil such as Roots Organics, Fox Farms, Verimfire, etc.

Well I really originally wasn't talking about any certain strain.
.just asking which ones ppl had the best luck with...I was trying to make my decision on another strain to get...but I am going to be running locomotion and cheesequake. ..I was leaNing on going for Jesus og...and yes I'm outdoors...I start inside for a month to a month and a half...my soIL mix will be moonshine mix ...I'm thinking of adding a few things to it though...everyone say you have to transplant a few times for this mix to work ...I don't really believe that but to each their own. ..everythingI have in my large pots will be fed teas and and bat turds for top dressing now and again ...I will prob add some bone meal or something to it...I pick up a bunch of fox farm ferts for the stuff I'll be growing in the soil that isn't quite as potent except the kelp me kelp you which iv never tried but it's 100% organic... (I checked with ff) so I'm gonna try it in my big pots as well
