Best Indoor Sativa

So I know this gets asked a lot. But I thought I would ask again with a few specifics and I am hoping I get some good advice.

I will be ordering from the Attitude, so they need to carry the stock (even if they are sold out ATM).

What is the best sativa to grow indoors? Criteria in order of importance:
 1. Great taste, and I vape if that helps. By great taste I mean "not an acquired taste". I don't want to have to learn to like it.
 2. Sativa high.
 3. At least a medium strength. Taste is much more important than strength, however.
Long flowering times don't scare me. This is for personal use and yield is hardly important at all.

Thanks in advance :blsmoke:

if you're after taste... short stuff's super cali haze is what my handle is named after. it has an authentic haze high and flavor. i was gifted a 1/2 gram of haze and couldn't tell any difference without comparing the 2 side by side. the taste is authentic sweet grapes unlike blueberry which hardly has any flavor to begin with. i've scored BB a couple times and the flavor was exactly like getting a single grain of artificial blueberry sugar on your tongue and i was even less impressed with that strain's stone. SCH is a pure high & very classy. it's not the trippest strain, but it has awesome euphoria, motivation & creativity. it's my favorite strain for connoisseur quality, but less delicious (cigar wrapper with hints of ashtray) haze x skunk by high quality seeds is my favorite smoke because it's more potent and the trippiest bud i've smoked short of VERY visual & sensual columbian gold

if you like the taste of licorice, you'll love durban poison as that literally tastes like you're smoking a stick of black licorice. i personally can't stand that particular flavor & got the dry heaves on it after one woofing hit, but totally forgave it for that when i FINALLY got high again after over 10 years of nothing but indica everywhere i bought. it wasn't as potent as gold, but the buzz wasn't shabby either and definitely stronger than the best "top of the pile" brick weed i ever scored. it probably didn't help that i only had a gram i wanted to last forever and had a hard time holding it. i bet that's why it's called poison. that strain showed up many times as everyone's favorite in another forum

kali mist (at least the original with 12.5% more sativa) is probably still my favorite tasting strain as i love spicy food (just had some mild thai curried chicken today) because it literally tastes like you're smoking crushed red pepper. it also HAD an off the charts too energetic to sit down on euphoric buzz i couldn't listen to tunes on and instead cleaned house grinning ear to ear and humming on. the new version might be a little more laid back, but the original was similar to a shroom trip with several cups of jitter free coffee. i begged and pleaded to buy some weight when i was gifted a gram of that and gave up bidding at $120 and eight.

even though it doesn't have the same flavor as KM, i like cinderella 99 (aka C99) better because it gives you a very similar buzz in about half the growing time and is cheaper than serious seeds gear. i smoked joey weed's slightly grapey version that you can't get anymore, but you should still be able to get their C99 x A11 (apollo 11 = C99 x genius) beans which would be more 24/7 friendly as A11 is mellower and trippier so you could chill out on that. there are other breeders out there making C99 again including mosca who've bred for the prized "potent pineapple" pheno and is supposedly trippy where KM & JW's C99 are very clear headed activities only buds. because it flowers so fast without adding the couchlock most other comparable strains have, C99 is great for breeding. i'm planning on using my C99 x A11s to spray a bunch of strains as soon as i can.

i haven't tried barney's laughing buddha yet, but it has a reputation for being laugh your ass off euphoric & up with a fruity taste much like very popular jillybean by TGA subcool, but the latter can get stony

jack herer is a really popular "indoor haze" strain related to super silver haze, but leaning more towards the sativa side. there's a rare pheno that popped up a few years ago that started out as a clone only called cinnamon girl. i just found out that respected female seeds has bred that strain as a faster flowering lowryder called auto jack. it's descibed as cinnamon & peppery. i really want to try that strain and see if it lives up to the hazey buzz & cinnamon flavor claims.

speaking of jack herer, TGA has his own lemony version called jack the ripper that i'm pissed has a violent name because it's about the fastest haze you can get and i can tell you without trying it that there's no way on earth it's shabby as everyone loves everything TGA grows. he makes quality control a top priority.

another strain i WISH didn't have a violent name is sannies' lemony killing fields. that gear should have a seriously fun buzz.

if you can do an outdoor grow & give your plants AT LEAST 5 gallons of high quality organics, get some full moon (highland thai) by sativa seeds. i tried growing that one indoors and it just wasn't happening as it's a tree sized IBL bitch you really need to put outdoors. it's one of the trippiest strains you can find and it's athentic tutti fruity lollypop (or juicy fruit gum) flavor is amazing. really, THAT would be my favorite flavor if only i was able to get bud out of it when i tried. the sweet candy odor it made when i panfried it's leaves & bud starts got me hot & bothered. sadly, i only got stoned off it, but it was stressed, light starved & rootbound to the point it was yellowing and one branch turned hermie on me from the stress. highland thai will do that, but i got a report from someone who was able to finish it that it does live up to it's rep when it's fussy demands are met. some day, i want to try and stealth grow it outdoors tied down under brush for cover because it might just be the best in the world for buzz & flavor if you get a tutti fruity pheno. forget it indoors though unless you are willing to devote your whole room & lots of light to SCROGging it and wait forever for it to finish.

hope that helps you on your quest for better connoisseur grade head stash.

my top rec is super cali haze. it gets it's grape flavor from thai and is delicious in it's own right with a buzz the hardest pot snob like me can never look down on. everything about it is quality though even as an auto, it still requires patience and accepting a lower yield. you're not looking for quantity only cash crapper strains though, so that one will do you right.

I second Killing Fields, super soaring sativa high, with three phenos, the green goblin( it will make your Dog talk to u, no ceiling) a purple pheno, which tastes and looks amazing, a pink pheno that will stop u in your tracks. A great overall strain with a killer high to boot. Sannie has alot of really nice sativas for low prices. You should also look at his Sannie Jack, Sugar Punch, and Eskos Chocolate Rain all to shelf and yield well.

Jack Herer! Beautiful indoor plant! But grows like crazy!
that's why i want to try female seed's auto jack. it's not just a jack herer lowryder which should tame some of jack's hazier traits, but it's also bred to the prized cutting's only jack pheno cinnamon girl! cinnamon & pepper with a bud that gets you as high as jack sounds really cool to me.

hazier strains are always going to want to stretch. that why most cash crapping strains don't get you high. sativas like their freedom.

man that trippy description for killing fields makes me jealous. that's my kind of high, but i just don't want to grow anything by that name. it's ironic really because satives are what have the liveliest buds where it's stony indicas that make you feel dead

Wow. Thanks for the detailed response. I have heard a lot about TGA, but I get the feeling he just crosses the same plants and gives them different names. However, I'm NOT saying that's true at all, it just seems that way to me for some reason.

I never really thought of Super Cali Haze. I will definately give it a try since I like the auto strains. They're pretty easy to grow. Too bad Attitude doesn't sell it as a pick and mix. But sounds worth it.

I hear a lot about Jilly Bean, but it's gotta be hype right?

I've only smoked low quality weed before, except what I've grown myself. But I've always focused on THC levels, and I'm regretting that now. I feel like I'm missing out on "the experience" of the elite strains.

Thanks for the advice hazey grapes. I appreciate it

Jack Herer! Beautiful indoor plant! But grows like crazy!
Jack Herer was my second order from Attitude. Grew it before I knew what I was doing. Half of them died during germination. Two made it into flower, and one was harvested. Very stretchy and fluffy. It still made my head spin, but I wasn't impressed. Again, I want to stress I didn't know what I was doing. $200 in seeds and 3 months of growing for about $200 of bud (it was at least that good). I really should try it again though. I hear it's one of the best, but don't hear a lot of people growing it.

you mean Subcool is paying all kinds of people to say great things about it ? :dunce: :wall:
anyways it's not a Sativa only 40 %
Nope. Just sayin that if it's too good to be true, then it can't be true. Right? I was hoping for a response like yours that confirms it's true. The way their described sounds fantastic.

no, medtoker. i've seen people with HIGH POST COUNTS praise TGA gear in at least 3 different forums. everything i've read that makes his gear so praiseworthy is the ATTENTION TO DETAIL and quality control he puts into his gear. yes, he shuffles a lot of the same strains around in his gear, but that's true of hundreds of strains that all use "top breeders" like haze, skunk #1, romulan, C99, afghani, hindu kush, and a huge number of cash cropping & med use strains have northern lights #5 in them. different combinations yield different results. heck, many breeders sell several PHENOS of the same cross depending on which parent or even grandparents' traits they lean towards.

you've probably seen "cheese" mentioned a lot in grows & wishlists or in crosses, but really, cheese is just a particular pheno of skunk #1 as is roadkill (aka brick wall)

a big part of breeding top strains isn't just starting with famous strains, it's about finding the best sources to start with and THEN maybe going through 100 plants to find the perfect breeders even testing males as potential fathers. you can have 2 breeders start with a pack each of the same strains and get entirely different results just by selecting (or not) different qualities, even changing the breeding order. super silver haze & jack herer actually have the exact same lineage, only the sexes were reversed in the final breeding session so that SSH's mom was the more indica strain and jack's mom was the hazier one making the two distinct strains.

it takes a lot of growing, testing & time to turn good plants into nearly flawless gear people rave about. believe it, if TGA's gear sucks, SOMEONE would be complaining and i've never seen that happen yet and trust me, i've done plenty of complaining of my own about useless gear from delta 9 labs & vancouver island seedbank. you can't produce gear that sucks and get away with it for long online. there's a reason you don't see too many KC brains grows. all you gotta do is type "kc brains grow report" into a search engine and see some of the same rants about 0% gear i've probably read.

That's true, the worst I've heard about TGA is a hermie problem sometimes. But even that's a rare complaint. Boy, their descriptions do make my mouth water.

I second the Vortex as a great indoor sativa dom.
Sounds like a good choice. I'm definately going to try some TGA on my next order.

If yu want "the best", go snatch up White Label Jack Herer! "SWIM" grows an apartment full of it indoors and it's like walking into a marijuana wonderland!

Im gonna say C99 is an excellent choice for an indoor sativa.

Its sativa in high but grows like an indica (flowers in 7-8wks i believe). theres a few places to get it from but if you love attitude "femaleseeds" has it for cheap. I believe its 10 beans for $70USD

Vortex parentage is Apollo 13, Romulan and C99.... that and the fact it was bred to be a winner makes it a easy choice, even for beginners. it can go 8-10 weeks depending on indoor lighting and pheno.

I would have to say kali mist first. long flowering time but the product is Quaaality and yield is good. Second is killing fields green pheno. third i would have to say tom hills haze

They all sound so great. It's hard to choose. Since I'm indoors, height is a concern though. That rules a couple of them out.

i love the TASTE of (original) kali mist more than anything and it's similar to C99 racy euphoric buzz is way better than the opposite "nothing but couchlock" extreme that street beasters are prone too, but was annoyed that it wouldn't let me sit down & trip out on tunes like i used to on columbian gold. i was expecting it to be trippy and not so clear headed. i'd love to always have some on me and still have ONE last 2.0 bud with 12.5% more indica left i hope is still viable that i want to test, but would only smoke it to wake up & get shit done or when i have nothing but activities in front of me or a date i want to become vigorous. it's too speedy for 24/7 use. it's clear headed energy buzz is a lot like a dose of shrooms with a bunch of jitter free coffee. the new version might actually be better though if the indica slows it down a little so you can watch TV instead of deciding it's time to learn how to build one from scratch.

as much as i like haze x skunk, i REALLY want to try amnesia haze by rokerj! it not only uses trippier than skunk super silver, but it also crosses it to a cambodian MOTHER where all of the haze skunks make skunk dominant by using that as the mother unless some fool decided that mothers should be listed first in lineages when they actually start with the male spraying. good luck trying to google that.

i've read nothing but positive blips about their gear where i could find them and even managed to dig this video up.
that person seems impressed with it and experienced with sativas as well. it's on my shopping list. it might be really close to what i imagined doing with 0% mekong haze.

i just can't imagine the cross sucking.
