thanks for the reply!
I do have a preference for lower odor starins!
Say if i go with the chronic and grow in a 4*4 tent, how many plants and for how long would you veg em for the max yeild? Thanks again!
hey beast did u think about SCROG maybe???? in 4x4 tent u can have some awesome yield's for that space ... it's been done time and time again in SCROG .... reed up on RUI there's whole bunch of post here on a subject ... I have whole bunch of expirience in SCROG and if space is an issue that is my route that i'm taking lol:mrgreen: ... personally i'm working on one vertic idea shelving style... link for it is below...

yea man i figured scrog would be the way to go! less invest in seeds but maybe a bit more hassle?
What strain would you recomand for scrog since chron doesnt really work for this?

WHAAAAAAT!!!!!!!!!
Now i feel like someone give me slap in a face:bigjoint: ...when i put strain out there for u it is something that i stand by my brother  and chronic can be done in scrog with great results.. i told u that can't be topped IMO but it is perfect for scrog, any single cola oriented strains r good for scrog cuz u wanna end up with whole bunch of colas on ur scrog heheh, all tho in the link that i will give u guy toped his chronic before scroging like i said before , u would have to experiment and i guess toping chronic for scrog application really works.. check that link out and tell me what u think ... 400w one scrog and a 1lb of weight off of chronic :weed::bigjoint:..... tell me what u think brother.

(MODERNATOR sorry that i put link for other MMJ site here , we not suppose to do that i know , but i wanna help that poor soul so here it is...)

like i thought you said chron is more a single cola plant, i thought scrog is more for plants with strong branches, pretty baked right now i m sorry if i misunderstand bro

My brother since any of the sides shoot outs what's going to pop thru your scrog r going to think that they r the main colla in any plant,
single colla r even more better for the scrog due to the fact that plant don't have a lot of side branching , that is in their genetics, and those single cola plant shoot out's r awesome because of that fact (not a lot of side branching) just the gorges look of thick buds:bigjoint:...
any shoot out = main cola
how beautiful is that in scrog:bigjoint:
And even single cola oriented plants have not that much side branching, u can still train that plant to work for your scrog , takes a bit longer but results r awesome:weed:.

for chronic, how many plants would you put in a 4x4? how long would u veg them

to be honest it's really depends ... if u want one plant and veg for longer or few and veg in shorter amount of time .... when u do scrog there is no set time lets say 5 weeks and flip to 12/12... in scrog u going to veg and check percentage of foliage on your screen ...
what i mean by that is u not vegging to some point in time , but u vegging according to how many percent is your SCROG filled with canopy and then u flipped to 12/12,
vegging percent that u want to accomplish is determined by stretch of the plant in flowering ( different plant's , different stretch:mrgreen:)
What i meant by that is MMJ plants stretch first few weeks after flipping on 12/12 schedule , and u as a grower have to implement that knowledge into ur scrog , that means before scrog is fully filed u have to flip , leaving that extra space on scrog for the purpose of that stretch so u can fill up rest of the scrog while plant flower ... i hope that is understandable what i just wrote:mrgreen:
for sativas dominant like hazes etc. u can flip when scrog is 50% to 60% full , for indica dominants 60% to 75% IMHO.
For Chron i would go like 75%

I so some post here on RUI when peep's was vegging to 100% scrog and the they was flipping to 12/12... u dont want to do that because when u do ... plant will stretch anyways and your scrog will be just a support for big plants instead be a support for whole bunch of main colas ... like i said before experimentation makes perfect:mrgreen:

perfect timed flipped scrog i think

vegged to much scrog IMO and that is what i was talking about ... it will work only as a support:mrgreen:

OK so let's go to ur another question ... plant count ... in 4x4 foot print if that would be me i would put 2 to 4 plants for quicker veg time , hmmmm i would lean more towards 4 ... but if you want to save money on beans u can even try to go with one and try to veg it for longer to spread that baby wider on scrog:mrgreen:.... that link what i give u guy veg that plant for five weeks and his footprint was 2x3 if i remember wright ... so that maybe will give u some ball park so u have rough guesstimate about how that strain reacts when vegging for scrog and i'm pretty sure it was hydro grow, if u do go hydro route IMHO ebb&flow tables r the best for scrog , but pep's done great thing in bucket systems too , ebb&flow it's just my preference:mrgreen:

that would sum it up ... if u going to have any more questions just shoot them up brother
Till Then :bigjoint:

8 ball kush. I managed 27.5oz in a 1.2x1.2m tent using ionic news and cheap multi-purpose compost. It responded unbelievably well to supercropping and topping in a scrog. Also the couchlock was insane.

How many ladies did you use to achieve that amount?
