Hey Everyone.
Just looking to get some opinions on what you think the best Kush or Kush dom. Hybrid strain of 2014 is so far. Also what do you think the Best Kush strain of all time is?
If you've smoked it, that's good, if you've grown it, well that's even better.
Let's see if we can get alot of opinions to get a good feel for the top notch kush'es out there.

I think the reason your not getting many replies is most people don't know what kush is.

To some it's a term used for good weed.

Some think og is kush because of the coined name og kush which is actually not a kush at all.

Others know kush as a real deal landrace from the Hindu regions.

Some kush crosses like bubba, master, pure, suge are often considered kush.

It seems some people know what actual "kush", from the Pakistan region of the world. Others think of the more popular typed plants.

Plus it helps to have context for what makes something the "best" as some of these OG Kush type plants are different. Clone only or from bean? This can be vastly different.

Luckily there are some very knowledgeable folks on here that are very familiar with the differences and nuances of both the clone only and the beans that they've grown. Ask and listen to them if you are looking for something in particular.

I'm interested in both but currently I'm growing out more typicaly location termed kush plants. I'm interested to see the final product.

LOL, ok so i didnt know it was gonna be such a big deal to ask about Kush,
There is no voting poll. I couldnt list the hundreds of types of kush's on a poll. Also, i live in a place where most people just call good weed 'kush'. I know the difference, my friends do not lol. Guess that because i grow and they dont.
All i was looking for was some opinions on some of the new and top notch classic Kush strains that are out there.
I am aware that there are the afghan/paki kushes and the 'OG's.
How about this...If it has kush in the name, or kush in the hybrid, then it counts.
for example, this year i have gown an afghan kush, and skywalker kush. two totally different types.
And as far as what i mean by 'good' kush, well that would be up to the person smoking it as to whether it was good or not.

I dont have alot of 'kush' experience. BUT, i CAN say that that afghan was really sweet, nice nugs, fast flowering. had high CDB as it puts you to sleep and takes away pain, not to good for daytime smoking as the sleepiness would prevail.
The Skywalker kush was really really stinky and pungent. Grew like a madman, large and high yielding. beautiful big dense buds. Pretty potent, higher THC than the afghans, I would think.
Both of those strains were good, but not something special....

My new favorite ogkush smoke rite now is kosherkush. I only started 1 pack(dumbass huh), and got nothing but pathetically small yielders. I got a good yielding holygrailkush however, which is ALMOST as good as the kosher.

It's not a big deal, it just like you said, everyone calls everything "kush". It's a misnomer.

I too love a good afghan kush. Where did you get yours?

I grew a handful of both of them, overall was disappointed. It wasn't bad, but certainly not worth my time when there is better out there.

You know....my favorite OG , was the very first cut I ever grew of it in around year 2000ish. I scored the cut from an old timer in Salinas CA. Still not sure what cut it was, but, It is still the best I remember.
We grow allot of different og's these days, and it seems they are all about the same. Just slightly different. The kosher I have(soon to ditch because of small yield) stands out a little more. It's a Super loud og(the one I got).

I would say from what I've grown out of the kushes from seed my best were
1.tahoe og kush cc seed stock
2.pre 98 bubba bx2 cc seed stock
3.docs og rd seed stock

I also grew a bunch of crosses with kush in them and what stood out was

1.motorbreath (sfv og x chem d)Pisces genetics seeds
2.commerce city kush (chem 4 x rd1) rd seeds
3. Blue ox (old blue x stn mountain) rd seed stock.

I just got into cloning successfully, took 3 tries. Theres been a few plants id wished id cloned.
Now i want to do an all-kush grow for my next round. I usually do just random plants i think look like they would be good.
I have some green crack, LA widow, and sugar black rose outside in the bush. They are between 7-9 feet tall and very healthy. my first outdoor. I always have my 4x4x7 with 600Whps going all the time. I have some scrog plants goin that just flipped to 12/12 a week ago.

Nice! I wish I could grow outdoors. I'm in a 20" wide x 48" long x 6 feet tall running a 600 HPS. Really overkill but way more production than 400.

Looks like I will be getting a supposedly SFV OG. I'll post up so people can help verify but I've known the guy for a bit and he seems to know his gear.

I'm really looking forward to the PCK. Hope to find a nice indica for day smoke.

The only OG type strain, that I have found to yield great under the NorCal sun so far, is my "the white" leaning wifi. 5 pound plants. Fire!
Which reminds me, if someone was to ask me what was my best all-arounder(OG)in my growroom, well that would be my very special fire leaning(smell/taste wise) wifi:-)
