A lot of people are saying quantum boards but id go with a DIY pcb light with samsung lm561c or bridgelux diodes. QBs are just one version of a pcb light with the samsung but if you go with diy you have much more flexibility and lower cost. The eb build thread is almost 50 pages of info or....

That page has 5+ samsung builds.

Think im going to make a 200 diode panel, ( 4 x 50 ) with 5w 3500K diodes for a 3x4, with lenses. But i need to gather info on drivers for this set-up. 7v each diode, 700ma, 1400Vs, 120,000 lumens, :/

or 300 diodes at 3.7v or 1110volts, 700ma, 84000 lumens

Yea pcb stands for printed circuit board and essentially is a substrate to mount the leds onto As well as transistors and other stuff. So a quantom board is a pcb. The difference between pcbs for lights and pcbs for other things would be the material. You wont use a fiberglass pcb for your leds.. thats for cell phones and stuff. The one you want for leds is usually aluminum or even copper for a better heat sink. Theres many kinds of printed circuit boards so it can become confusing
