Best nutes for Hempy Buckets

Looking for good nutes for this set- up, looking towards maybe Foxfatms. Don't want to do Lucas formula or have anything to do with GH. Looking for proven nutes for this kind of setup and someone's proven nute schedule would be much appreciated.

Just looking to use better nutes lime foxfarm or something more organic, also is it more effective to use Coco rather than perlite in this method of Hydro? What brand of Coco is good to use

I've used Dynagro with pretty good success. Green all the way till chop. But the flavor wasnt that great in the end. I flushed for two weeks and cured for nearly a month and it still tasted a bit harsh.

I have a friend that uses botanicare and his stuff tasted GOOD. You gotta get the flavorings if you use botanicare. Or try bud candy I've used that before and it made a pretty big difference.

Is the final product using Gh nutes good? How is the taste and smell? How is the yield? Do u run into any defiancies using them growing in Hempy Buckets? Do u need to use any other supplements such as Cal-Mag?

I'm growing in hempy buckets with coco fiber, hydroton on the bottom. I use the Botanicare CNS17 line of nutes, it's cheap and works very well indeed, no harshness at all, leaves a clean white ash when smoked.

Results, Fusion Seeds Lemonberry (Dabney Blue x Lemon Thai) @ 7 weeks:

Feroce, How are your yields typically? Could I also take a clone from a mother plant growing in Soil and put it into a rapids rooter then a hempy bucket? I know u grow alot of sannie strains, I have a mom of Killing fields that I would love to put clones of in Hempy Buckets. Also of topic do u know when Cheeseberry Haze is coming back?

Yields...depends on the strain and whether I'm growing from seed or clone. I've done 3 runs now with my purple Jackberry, and yields have improved every time. She is giving me an ounce per gallon of root mass now:)

On the clones, you bet you can! Just like you said, rapid rooter then straight to the hempy bucket once roots show.

Couldn't tell you on the Cheeseberry Haze, but Whazzup recently released Kronocaine (Amnesia Haze x Herijuana), bet you could find something decent in a pack of those...

I'm useing CNS17 with Silica Blast. Both Botanicare and the plants love it. I may add Cal-Mag as soon as I can for suppliment.
Botanicare works for me because I'm strictly DWC. Botanicare is not for drippers and it plugs hoses with white film.
But I'm liking the Botanicare because its so buffered and it has all of the nice things my plants need. When i shift them to bloom, I'll use the Botanicare bloom with some fox farm cha-ching.

What is a good schedule to water and nute from seedling, vegging, and flowering in Hempy. Going with 2.5 gallon containers with 100% perlite, starting from seed, strain is Extrema. Nutes are either going to be Gh , flora nova or Foxfarms

Going with Hempy Buckets, I Chose Flora Nova Bloom for my whole grow Lucas style. Now what is a good nute water schedule for Hempy Buckets? Do I feed every watering? Will I also need Cal-Mag? And Ph ppm meters?

I'll preface this by saying that I do use the GH nutes, grow-micro-bloom and I'd say so far it's been awesome and pretty inexpensive. If the botanicare stuff works, then rock on.

But with that being said, I feed every watering. How often is dependent on the size of your bucket and at what stage your plants are. At some times they're growing quicker and need a feeding every few days, and other times it's a little less than once per week. Check your plants every day, pick one up and you'll be able to tell if it's needs water or not. It just takes some time and you'll get used to it. Just check your plants daily and listen to what they tell you.

I don't personally need Cal-Mag but it's a common problem with hempy setups and depending on the strain you're using you may or may not need it. Just keep an eye on it and see if you need it.
