Where is all the feminized seeds at US seed banks? Its not hard to make them, hell i made thousands of them off of two plants. Its not a complicated process, just spray a female plant with cs collect pollen and pollinate.
You don't see a ton of them but they are available for some strains. People fear they'll hermie. I've never had a problem with fem seeds before ever.

These are the feminized seeds I'm currently growing. They were all bought at US banks.
I've never had a herm indoors or outdoors.

When you use colloidal silver to flip a female you don't pass on hermie traits, the only time you pass on hermie traits is when you use the rodelization stress method. I guess it depends on the method used but most breeders do not use the rodelization method since it is so inefficient.

Biggest issue for U.S growers is finding reputable genetic suppliers. I gave amsterdam seed co. a try this year and my order was in my hand in 6 days. Then I read horrible things about these guys afterwards. Their website is beautiful, selection huge, now I can't put my my trust in them after reading all the negative reviews. Anyone do any business with AMS? From what I gather it's either hit or miss with them.

I've been reading all these Web sites and what I am finding is original strains produced by the best breeders in the world being crossed to other great strains to make whatever looks nice. And in that case I bought a 5 pack of Ken's cut GDP from Attitude seed and there was only one female so I kept the healthy males . I also had one pack of east coast cookies from Conasoir genetics. there cookies cut is the back bone of there breading program. so I pollinated the cookies with male GDP And the F 1 seeds have been unreal. I still continue to stabilize the strain. And at the end of the day it's really about stable genetics and I'm just not seeing that with the US Web sites. it's a new generation of breading. I'm 40 and remember when white widow was discovered . I need to go to my roots and cross NL#5 with some skunk #1 . that's where dominant strains become Allstars like Blue Dream.

I've been using attitude for 15 years . I've had problems with beens not showing up or even not looking good and I call them right up and they send out new packs. I've had issues with a certain strains and they replaced them with breeders packs , because a single seed didn't perform. But I pay a lot of money for a single seed. So ya can't go wrong with Attitude seeds.

So today i made my first purchase of seeds using James bean and Oregon elite. Picked up some bohdi chocolate trip and shoreline colombian fire and alien shoreline. tried to go through sourpatch but could not get in contact with them after repeated attempts. Let's see how long it takes.

I'm really new to this so I was hoping to get some feedback if anybody has delt with them before.
All I'm saying is that for whatever reason you're looking at lesser known/popular seed banks, you're opening yourself up to some degree of risk. Just stick to the tried and true companies that have already been listed and you will surely be satisfied. Not worth the risk of maybe a couple extra freebies or lower prices to go with a random site you've seen on the web. Just my .02

So what is your favorite seed bank and why? I'm looking to purchase soon.
