Best strains for a first time grower in a space bucket?

So im selecting my seeds for my very first grow in a space bucket. Im thinking about Northern Lights, because they dont have very much odor at flowering stage, easy to grow and have a nice potency and yield. And maybe i take one cheaper seed of some kind of quick dwarf strain to test out my setup for a first grow. What do you think guys? Maybe you could suggest more options?

I would recommend Dinafem Blue Widow because it has a sweet berryish smell, not horribly stinky like an afghan, if that is important to you. It also stays reasonably squat and is very nute tolerant and easy to grow. It doesn't need much training. It doesn't stretch much which can take new growers by surprise and get out of hand quickly.

I would get a NL cross, rather than pure NL. It's too inbred to give really strong plants.

You can grow anything in any space though... I'd just pick what interests you the most.
Huh? You mean to say you can get a big ass Sativa to go micro? Is that just with LST and FIM. Or is there another technique I haven't read about?

Small root space, topping, lst, screens, 12/12 from start. Just try out different things. But I wouldn't start micro growing with a landrace sativa.

Hmm. Ok. So I'm better off using a 5 liter bucket than an 11 liter for my 2.6ft of vertical space?
