best time to clone

I've got a single room set up w/15 plantsthat are about 3 weeks in veg. from clones. I want to take some clones from them and try the perpeptual thing. I'll make a bubble or areo cloner out of a rubbermade tub. MY questions is whens the best time to clip clones of the other plants?? I plan on a 8 week flower and dont have room to do a veg room. How long can i keep them in the cloner?? I dont want to F this up it cost a lot to get new clones.

you can cut clones now if you want. make sure your areo cloner you make, the light can get threw. good luck keep them in their till they root then transplant.

did you mean make sure the light can not get threw?

If I cut clones in the second week of flower will they root? is it better to cut right before flower?

i read that clones taken in flower have a tendancy to go hermie, anyone experiance this i dont even want to chance that mess.
