If I didn't live with the missus then I would dedicate the storage/ventilation room entirely to a grow with 400w hps's veg areas the whole shebang lol but nah she would hit the roof if she saw lil weed plants on the windowsill, my stealth grow is like a compromise on either growing or not at all... and you know what women are like.

It's not too bad starting from seed, 'cause I can have any strain I want (though I am looking for a keeper), I've got a mate who would give me a few clones maybe even some already rooted plants, but at the moment he's running more sativa plants I don't have space for.

Ahh, you can clone in a foot square box with a single 23w cfl you know? It's very stealth. You don't even need venting.

yeah, I've done it before, had a mini veg room in my flower cab, I don't have room enough to veg for my big scrog's though seeing as this is now my preferred method, Tried SOG, had too much trouble keeping all the plants happy at the same time (managed 8 or 10 in my old, smaller flower cab).

I remember seeing that a while back! next step is to enlarge the screen and put a HID in the middle XD

LOL. It's been updated now with a small pc fan and a heated propogator base. The hydro has gone (Coco just seems easier in there) and the screen will change to accomodate the next vertical scrog grow. It may get used for over-wintering some clones but in spring it's going to be used for the eggs from my (hopefully) breeding pair of Royal Pythons.
Plan is to clone then veg in mini-cab, onto 2 curved vertical screens 1ft high, 2 ft across then transplant into the 250 vertical scrog (2 ft diameter, 2 ft high, 2 screens 3x2) for 12 square foot of screen on a 250w grow. Aiming for 9 oz. Still want to hit that gpw.
Still, 3 weeks, 2 days to go on this one yet (but who's counting!)

Ahh, that looks cool. I was looking at some like these a long-time back.

Was going to use them for a propogation room but ended up using cfls. I had a load of suitable bulbs of suitable colour at the time and the lumens/watt was even more impressive (depending on who you believe, you really need a light meter https://www.rollitup.org/grow-room-design-setup/462374-diy-6-00-light-meter.html) to tell but the price of fixtures was off-putting.
I love the look of those long PLLs.
