Better to train or let wild

this question has been bugging me for a while now. I've always done dwc and has always been a decent yield. However I'm doing 3 white queens right now and I'm getting these guys are indica dominant so as you can imagine they are short and stalky. I just put them through their first week of flowering so nothing can be done for them now so I'm just been letting them grow as they want. I'm just wondering do you get a better yield when u train them (cutting the main)? I'll have some pics to show you guys what I'm working with to see if I can still mess with them a bit. Any answers though to my original question are welcomed.

I usually top once before I LST this way the plant is already split into two and fills up a screen easier.

But yes training produces, more because it keeps all the tops at an even level getting premium light and, doesnt waste energy packing,a buncha tiny buds below getting less light.

I nearly doubled,yields,with screens.

Do you know any good places to help guide me through scrogging never done it
i'm sure there is a youtube video somewhere but basically, you have a square screen let's say 2x2. you put the plant under the screen (obviously) and start the plant at the 6 oclock position on the screen. as it grows you constantly weave it up and under the screen so it grows towards the 12 oclock position. when it jsut about fills up the screen, you flip to 12/12. now you have a flat plane where all the bud sites get equal light from above.

Check out my scrog diy in,my,signature.

Best screen for bucket lids ive seen. Everythings plastic so no rust.

The screen is made of string so getting plant out to harvest is easy.

Its pretty simple you just keep tucking that plant back, under the screen in sorta spiral shape so the main stalk covers a lot of the screen so its axial growth grows thru the screen.

Ya you just try to give every branch the same top lighting by using the screen . top it once then top those tops once more for easy growth under a screen.
