Blackstrap Molasses + toasted egg shells for Cal-Mag?

I've been doing a shit-ton of reading on the interwebs about Calcium and Magnesium for plants(not specifically for the ladies).

I've found a fairly large amount of folks using blackstrap and toasted egg shell powder diluted with water for cal-mag solution.

Has anyone tried this for their girls?

Cal-Mag isn't as expensive as some of the other nutes out there, but a bottle of blackstrap is like $2, and my household produces a dozen egg shells a week...

Thoughts?

I'm going to give it a test next tomato season... I don't mind sacrificing some of those for the test!

I've been saving my eggshells for years to use when planting tomatoes. I rinse them clean, dry them out, and grind them into powder in a blender. I haven't had a single tomato with blossom end rot since I started using eggshells. Blossom end rot is caused by a calcium imbalance. Eggshells are definitely a good source of calcium when growing in soil.

I wonder if it'll work as a foliar spray?

egg shell powder + blackstrap, diluted of course...
