Started lights. gonna push for another week :) Its gonna be 2 weeks of flushing then, never flushed for so long before. Big difference? Should I change my bulb to 250HPS instead of 400HPS the last week? @Dr.Who
No don't change the bulb. You should be using the MH here anyway....

Why flush? You don't need to.....flush = myth......Proper cure, proper cure, proper cure!
The plant can use the nutrition at this point...it's the bulking phase.......I've been doing this for decades and quit the "flush" things years and years ago! NO SCIENCE behind it!

Sigh, now the flush heads will come in and argue.......don't listen!

Most people seem to think flush leech outs the bad taste and "chemically" taste out of the buds, when reading forums etc.
But cureing right is the ultimate way, I can agree on that.

But I think flushing can help removing excess minerals or nutrients in your medium. In my case nitrogen deficiency or too much nutrients added I think it will help somewhat with the taste and develop but not in the same way as most people think.

Always 50/50 Yes and Nay-sayers regarding topics like this so what can I believe?
Why should I believe you? Do you have proof your method works?

Its a matter of taste I guess.

Try your way through is the best way I guess and try methods that makes most sense. :)

Do what you do and be happy!
Even when I "play" with a synthetic.....I water only when I see it's a week out......I just don't "flush" gallons of water through it!

I use hydro.

Your method might be right that flushing isnt needed. Im pretty new at this.
My point were just that everyone are saying "dont believe this or that" "do this or that" but nobody shows any proof of what really works and doesnt.

Maybe there is no science behind any of our methods. I havent found it yet anyway.

Thankful for all help regarding growing tho! :) @Dr.Who

I'm on my third run with the buhda .....but.....this one will be my last...just too stretchy for my liking. Barneys has a relatively new strain out called triple cheese.......my frei d is growing it now.I haven't had a look at it yet but he assures me they grow well so that will be my next move.......if it is even half the plant Barneys blue is then I shall be satisfred.....
huh...my blue cheese... cookies kush... critical kush and sweet tooth all are fairly stout growers.. they aren't anything like a purple kush stout.. but they also aren't on the insange veg speed as like blue dream or gorilla glue.. the barneys phenos i got keepers of weren't really bad stretch wise.. but fuk.. i get excellent production on them.. super good flavors...the only one i haven't flowered yet is cookies kush I'm putting that in this weekend.. but all my females are nice and stout .. strong branching but nothing insane.

I honestly wondered about this my self. If it's the chlorophyll left on leaves or not constant burping at the beginning of curing process, I wondered if drying too quick and not letting chemical change properly in the flower during curing phase is what fuck a your shit and up? During my first few runs of improperly curing I found the harshness. Now that I take my time and watch the flowers dry slowly to get that perfect curing process. My stuff is a lot less harsh and can actually taste what the bud smells like.

Still got a crappy camera, but here we go.
67 days total in bloom.

5 hangers with big buds, rest of the buds are in that cylinderthing (5 levels) :) Looks pretty good for one plant.
Will Clean them up in a couple of days.

Hello all this is my blue cheese just started her 7th week from going to 12/12 the 1st 2 weeks she was at 12/12 under 100w M.H. on the 3rd week she went to 600w HPS for 2weeks then I turned the ballast up to 100%. I found this thread searching P82A0589.JPG P82A0590.JPG P82A0591.JPG for blue cheese flower time. Now a little about me: I have been gardening for many years out doors and many in side house plants. This is my 1st cannabis grow also my 1st indoor grow and DWC. I am growing in a 4x4x7 sun hut, 1000w Nanolux OG ballast, Raptor air cooled reflector hood, max fan pro, with a fan speed temp. controller, using house and gardens nutrients. So I have a few questions 1st I am just hitting week 7 she has allot of bud but kind of on the thin side I have read this hole post and here she should start fattening up this week I hope. Also she has all white pistils, no sign of orange/red at all. Is this normal at this point? And last as you can she with the yellowing I over did it nutes last Sunday Bad noob mistake fucked up on the ppm's bad noob mistake. I fixed it up this Sunday with a 48hrs of just ph 6.5 H2O and changed my res. again Tuesday morning with a very low ppm 200. I think she still doing fine was just wondering did I screw my yield or should I start to see some bigger bud and ripening over the next few week.
Thanks

Ease up on the nitrogen they look a bit dark ........Bc has a long flowering time 10-12 weeks so you still have a way to go.........have you started any pk yet if not then I would invest in some this will significantly increase your yield.......best of luck mate......
