Old thread but I searched for ones with Blue Pyramid in the title and this is the only one that came up in this forum. So anyway I'm growing some of the BP, at about 9.5 weeks now. Not very impressed with it actually. It's a stretcher and the buds tend to be fairly long and thin mostly. Most importantly, so far it doesn't seem to be very potent. I can feel it but not strongly. Other strains in the same chamber and at the same stage are a lot more potent, at least at this point, which is pretty late in the grow.

I decided not to propagate it anymore, since I also have some Chrystal and just started some OG. I topped a Chrystal plant, without buds even formed yet, and smoked the tips and got higher than I did from the Blue Pyramid buds. How Pyramid Seeds managed to produce a weak Blueberry strain is a mystery to me but I guess they succeeded, unless it potents up a lot within the next little while, which seems unlikely. Maybe they really are just for souvenir purposes, look and smell like Blueberry but smoke like Mexican brickweed. I'll post again later with a final review after harvest but not looking great so far. Hopefully it turns out at least average. There are so many crappy, or mediocre at best, strains being sold these days that it's truly disgusting. It's a needle in a shit stack.

It does seem to be improving now, a test was noticeably better than the last one a couple days ago. Potency and flavor both got considerably better. It seems to be a strain that doesn't get good until about 9.5-10 weeks. I've been withholding water and ferts the last few days too so that may be part of it. Seems to be a decent strain now, though the buds are still pretty light, may not yield very high. I'll probably keep one around for variety, at least for a while. One of them didn't stretch as much as the other two, pretty average.

I grew some of this awhile back. My pheno bloomed fast and was good.

Report here.
I'm sure the strain is worth the price, being in the lower range. I have one Chrystal pheno with no stretch at all though and very fast flowering so I don't think the Pyramid can compete with that. That strain is only about 4 weeks in so I haven't actually been able to see or try the finished buds yet. By fast flowering I mean it got visible budlets before the other 3 phenos did. To me that's probably a sign of a fast finisher. So I have a good prospect there and then I also have 3 Dinafem OGs just sprouted so let's just say the Blue Pyramid has some tough competition coming up.

For the BP fems I've run with 2 years in between. Both times I found one which was better than the rest and worthwhile keeping. Both phenos I kept were almost identical in smell/taste, other than the second pheno which is the one I'm running now has an added background smell of tangerine/orange, and this one produces very well compared to the first one. About 2.5 oz in a 3gal pot which is not bad. Both phenos took somewhere between 48 and 55 days to finish, depending on the lighting used and environment, so quick finishers imo. Here's some pics below of the last few pulls, I run one in pretty well every round to make sure I have a good stash around for smoke/vape and edibles. They get some nice colours when the lights out temps drop below 68F in winter.

Mine got chopped, at 10 weeks. Pretty mediocre. One pheno has fluff buds so pretty much useless. Another had more solid buds but still fairly loose. The smell is pretty average, nothing I would identify as blueberry, at least when fresh. I still have a third pheno in an early stage of flowering so I can't say yet on that one, it's less stretchy at least. If it was super-potent it might be worth overlooking the other characteristics but it's just weak, maybe medium at best, at least the bit I microwaved to test out. I could feel it, yeah, but nothing special.

Personally, I would say try other blueberry strains than this particular one. Mine also didn't turn blue aside from some slight purple on a few upper leaves. A few calyxes were purplish but you wouldn't really notice without a magnifying glass. To me it looks like a quick knockoff job, starting from a mediocre version of Blueberry and then not even doing proper pheno selection or anything. Another waste of grow space as far as I can see. GrowErr's photos look better than my plants so maybe it's possible to get good ones, just in my case I struck out. I must say though that I'm really getting sick of all the crap genetics being sold these days. For those prices they should damn well put in a couple years on a strain before releasing it and hire people who can tell the difference between good and crappy phenos.

That's why I went for a couple old schools strains, Chrystal, which is NL5xWWbxNL5, and OG Kush, which could be considered old school at this point I think. One Chrystal pheno looks like a rare gem. The other 3 phenos all stretched and buds started appearing later than this one, whose internodes stayed about 2". Every other plant in there, meaning the other Chrystals and the Blue Pyramids, were about the same height (stretched) while this single plant was staying way down and putting out what look like the foundations of some massive buds with excellent shape. I'll get some pics later when it develops actual buds instead of just budlets. It's just starting to put out trichs and the resin has that typical sweet Indica smell, sort of orange candy. So I think I may finally be closing in on a plant worth producing.

BTW, with the Blue Pyramid the buds are also what I would call "woody", meaning the stems inside them are hard and tough rather than kind of like foam that just breaks up easily. I guess it's from the Thai and may explain the harshness. You can't just pull the buds apart easily, you need scissors to cut through the wood.

Maybe I'm just too finicky, I don't know. The resin is good, got some good finger hash. Just not a fan of the physical structure of the buds. Though the resin is good they don't put out a huge amount so it ends up not feeling that potent. White Cookies was the same way. Hard to find a really good resin producing plant.

Yeah I have an auto flowering friend now and it's potentially the most amazing smell over ever smelt. And the bids are going to be thick and sticky for sure :)

If BP isn't like that, it's okay I will just deal as I'm doing all this to save for Munich own farm to grow big amounts; 10 of each strain, 25 strains is my goal next year

It's okay for something to try. You might find a good pheno. I've grown a lot worse, just I have pretty high standards for something to use precious space on at the moment. They don't charge much for them anyway, I paid $35. I was more pissed about CropKing White Cookies seeds, which were $60 and also nothing special. Those guys are highway robbers. If you're gonna sell mediocre seeds then at least sell them cheap.

We'll all this info makes me almost regret buying BP but I thought since my galaxy strain from pyramid is doing amazing that it would be generally the same; anyone grow BP outdoor??
If you get some straight up BP from Pyramid Seeds I doubt you'll be disappointed. As long as you have an eye/nose to select the phenos you like you should find something good in a pack.

I was going to grow one outdoor and ran out of clones (gave away too many!), a GF is growing one and doing well about 2 weeks outside so far. These should do well outdoor as I've finished them as early as 48 days indoor so they should finish early outdoor.
