That's sick do you blow lots of glass? I have a request for something done, its very simple - i used to have a very plain glass spoon (pipe) and the mouth part went inward like a bowl, this was awesome because it kept me from getting stuff in my mouth (like an ash catcher) and i could burn without a metal screen

Nice work there, I tryed my hand a few times at blowing glass at a friend of mines shop and still have a the first lil shitty spoon I made around here. Nothing like the work you have to show but hey it was my first attempt and its smokable.

Hey redi rasta ever heard of liquid fire studios?

Btw do you sell your glass to denver shops?

I think I have. Do they make alot of sculptures? There are alot of glass shops in Denver. I have sold many pieces. All pipes had a life-time warranty. As long as you have all the peices I would fix it as many times as possible. Free. The guy I worked for was a psyco, so I quit. I just built my new studio in North Denver.

Nice, yeah Liquid fire does do smaller glass art, not so much sculptures, although I do know they have done a few, but they dont have a big enough kiln. They also make alot of pipe and sell to a few glass shops.

Ive been looking for someone who could fix my 5 footer, what size kiln are you working with?

I do not have the ability to do that at this time.

I only have a 2 foot kiln. You have to go to Street Glass on 88th and Washington. Make sure it is really clean. he probably wont charge you a penny. If he cant fix it he might trade you for a new bong. You'll have to pay like 40 bucks.

Use some denatured alcohol. It is what we use at the glass shop beacause it is strong, but wont etch the glass. if you dont get it totally clean the resin will burn into the glass and it will never be clear again.

ps the guy at the shop is named don.

bring something good to share and he will make you a pipe on site
and you can watch.

Check out glass craft. www.glasscraftinc.com Get the book by HOMER HOYT. Get "Contemporary Lampworking" It comes in a two book set.
get a torch, hose, regulators, oxygen and propane. A kiln, glasses and tweezers and claw holders. Silver, Gold, carbon rod, carbon plate, glass at a low low price of $50 a pound. Get alot of time, money and patience. Then turn up the heat and burn, burn, burn. Youtube has a ton of videos. Although, not all of them are the CORRECT way to blow glass you will learn alot from them as to what you will be getting into. Good luck.

REMEMBER: safety is #1 use the proper glasses, and have adequate ventilation or you will die. Maybe post an ad on craigslist and ask if anyone needs an apprentice.
