Any of you guys have these?

I just scooped up two, need at least 2 more bit figured I'd try them first...

They're the connect version, and they both cane with a connect stick! (They weren't supposed to... It lets you see system pm online/phone)

So I'll have to throw one on ebay

Anyways my ph usually drifted up like outs supposed to bit id be busy/lazy and it would hit 6.5 often

Anyways, these are great, now it's locked into 5.8, wonder if I'll see any benefits in plant growth... Either way it'll simplify my life alot!

Also this thing glows green from the display... Says it's plant safe but has me lightly concerned since I never have any light in the flower room at night... You guys thing it'll be safe or should I cover the display with duct tape?

my experience with the blulab ph pen is great. tr to follow their instructions on storage and maintenance and it must live for a while. If I were in your place i would place the display unit out of the flowering box

these are the controllers AKA ph dosers (so the probe is always in the system/res)... they dose ph down as the ph tends to rise to keep the ph locked at 5.8 or whatever you set it to... ill say I cant speak on the durability because I just got them but they do what theyre supposed to... lock the ph at 5.8 or wherever you set it. No more worrying if the ph is drifting too high and always having to check on it, if you know what I'm talking about you just know ha

They work so well I pulled the trigger and got two more so all my systems have PH controllers on them.. and they're all logging the data on my computer.... sends emails if things get out of whack and tell me how many times per day it had to dose

I'm pretty pumped and while this is a decent sized investment, i dont know why I didnt do it sooner! Shits so dialed I can go on vaca no problem now, automate or stay late!

just seeing if anyone has tried these and seen quality or yield go up?

also about the light, and placing them outside of the room... theyre in the room now, never done that... but this is what theyre for right? you'd think if lighting was an issue they'd have a photocel so there was no backlight at lights off... hopefully its all good

To clarify I just heard back. They said the light is 100% safe and won't interrupt the night cycle... Also said it didn't matter what brightness level they're on...

Green light doesnt affect them because they cannot see it.

I'm thinking of grabbing one. Report back how your plants like it and how close it keeps the pH.

Im sold, keeps ph exactly where you set it, like I said, I quickly bought two more so all systems are on these...

It only controls ph in one direction (you should want to use ph down)

If ph gets out of whack it will email you (only with connect version and connect stick)

I can only imagine the plants will yield better+ be happy with one set ph at 5.8 thus being healthier.... Either way my life just got so much easier!

Yeah just set mine up this morning. I diluted my ph down with distilled water a bit. It's working perfect. Locked in at 5.8pH

Some say a swing is good. I wonder if holding in one spot is better re nute uptake? Can you actually change level remotely from one day till the next? I tend to let my res swing up but just slightly and never above 6, plants seem happier below 6 with my setup and 5.7 seems the sweet spot :).

I was swinging before from 5.5-6.5, so will see how they go locked in at 5.8

It's a shame it doesn't allow a low and high range so you could dial it in to swing a bit.

I also bought one of their guardian monitor units so I can keep an eye on ec/ph/temp.

I'm waiting for the connect stick to arrive so I can dial it in to the computer at the grow room. For now I have a remote camera pointed at it, so I can glimpse at the values from time to time.

It will be interesting if their software has email threshold alerts, now that would be handy.

The dosing system is excellent. I have mine set to dose a drop every 10 minutes (allows the solution to mix in the reservoir) until the pH is correct. I have a pump set up to my reservoir also that pulls water from the bottom of the tank and drops it in the top, also oxygenating it.

Sounds nice, I have my building climate controlled using wifi but the hydro part would be the ultimate .... someday perhaps lol. I get email alerts for humidity, temp. And track can track by graph hourly. Just incorporated an HVAC stat to run relays.

That's pretty cool. I guess my next thing would be to look at controlling EC. I'd need two units, one to feed RO water in and one to feed in Nutrient.

BTW if anyone needs a connect sick, let me know. I have an extra... I'd be willing to sell it at a decent discount!

Do your self a favor, but a connect doses, them but the connect sick from me haha

But really get a doser, money WELL spent

The green LED isn't an issue.

Back in the day the dosing setups we had available had a little issue where a bad pH probe would cause the system to run the dosing pump constantly. Bad news lol. I assume the new setups have logic in them to prevent a runaway condition caused by a bad pH probe.

Im having problems with lockout because not changing enough within 3 or 5 doses or something like that. Guess ill pull hose out of epicenter to get a visual on how much it actually spits out in 5 seconds. Also i mixed like third gallon down with like 3 gallon water and today when i opened the jug i was using there wS like white spots of mold floating in the ph mix. Any idea wtf it was? I switched it out with smaller bottle of half water half down but only dosing 3 or 5 seconds still have lockout problem.
