Tested board with aluminium "U" channel as heatsink.2 board at 260watt from plug.
The hottest point(center of board on the led side) was 52° C with T ambient of 23°C and no airfloe.The back of the board was even cooler (from 3 to 5 C degree). Previous temperature was taken from the back too.

these are just chinese boards that someone has imported these are all made in china even propper quantum boards are
they are cheaper on alibaba you just need to ask the proper questions about components and the voltage
im going to start selling these types of boards soon and other custom boards soon in the uk and may sell the bare pcbs so people can reflow them them selves ive been playing with the idea and designing boards for a bit now

i believe you can get a full quantum board kit with meanwell driver and slate for £100 ish on alibaba too

Iphone is just a chinese phone that Apple has imported....There are plenty of boards from Alibaba, but board with genuine lm561c s6 az bin, potential passive cooling, with good footprint and uniformity....are not very common.Find this boad from alibaba if you can.

you can and i have will find the links if you like will look at my message board an alibaba hlg confirmed to me a while back who makes there boards as i stumbled across them on alibaba
in regards to the lm561c s6 az bin this is why you need to do your research and ask the correct questions

Shenzhen Hansion Technology Co., Ltd. is who makes the original quantum boards
bellow is a link to a similar board but they do sell the ones exactly the same as quantum boards with the same lay out 304led and 288led these are lm561c s6 az

i looked into all this ages ago i was going to make my own qb but use better lm301b chips but now im looking into a slightly different longer board 4ft design was picking hlg s brain about were they made there boards and it happened to be the same comp i was talking to about having my boards made

I don't recommend China unless you have a partner overseeing the production of the parts there, unfortunately they are always gonna try rip you off, maybe they send the first few orders and everything is legit then couple orders later copper thickness is getting less and wrong bins are being used , diodes with different voltages in parallel on board etc. Unfortunately this is the mentality of the far east and if you don't have a trust worthy partner over there they will 99% of the time change the little things that are almost impossible to notice especially with large orders.

I have also designed a similar board to QB 288 with Samsung lm301b diodes on Eagle as well as a Nichia board. Trying to get pcb's made in the UK and considering purchasing a pick and place machine, re-flow oven and solder paste screen. That way I order all the diodes from authorized distributes and I'm loading the boards. But this equipment is hella expensive and would have to take a loan or investment.

Maybe we can collaborate and I move to china lol

thats exactly what im doing lol
im about to make a open pnp machine will be about £700 built

i use upverter and love it for my boards

^^^^this all day...... any small fish that has dealt with PRC== the same cost cutting horror stories. I have my own too.

Most of the luxury/ quality brands are manufactured under strict supervision, usually a Japanese factory manager. Lol

None of your link are for a board like mine ( well, not mine since I only bought it ), so I still think I made a good choice. Anyway, good luck with your business. I am interested to your P&P machine

sorry man didnt look at it that closely yours isnt they same have 3000k and 5000k and few extra leds on

Ive sed this many times already but selling these boards in the uk/eu is completely illegal. 20 grand fine and 3 month in jail plus having to recall and refund every item.

Were the uks leading diy led store and we dont sell them for a resaon.

But... @justsmokedope bulk buy samsung strips and sell them its completely legal and theres a good mark up on them to be made.

@DankaDank Sounds like a plan that does im game :)

if i had boards made from a suppler with the cert s this would apply to my boards wouldnt it ?
