How Can I start this thread....
I don’t post much, but I’m forever reading and learning more and more with he great info on rollitup.
There’s one thing I’m unaware of...
I have bohdi’s silver mountain mother I used her to take cuts from and what stunning plants and flowers it produces.
I have came back and getting her ready for more cuts but she looks as though she’s trying to flower sooo hard, clumps of white hairs forming in colas even forming trychomes on leaves, I wondered why my mate saying it was smelling the the house out.. it’s not auto, but only been a mother for a few months, I had a cut prior to that that done the same thin. One leads and flowering so I did flower her and just used a fresh cut from her now she’s doing it, anyinfo appreciated

Great Strain this is too

most mothers these day are less than 12 months

some strains go far less.. This could be one

did you make even a slight change to the room or lights?

as she continues to fall to flower

keep taking them cuts and put the cuts on a heavy 20/4 schedule

but soon you will have to flower this grand mom

good luck

I have a couple of strains that I can only keep as mothers for a few months. Luckily otherwise they are very stable, so I just plant new seeds every 6 months.

no change in the light schedule at all,
Under a t8 bulb that’s plugged straight into the wall . No timer etc ,
It happened to the one before this I took cuts and theybrooted just fine,
Just when there’s 30 odd on there and now looks like I’m limited to about 12 it’s a bit shit lol

Yes I think it’s just one of these Strains , luckily I have 3 rooted cuts in one litter pots I could use asmothers again or take cuts before I flower and not have a mother
Would be a shame to let her slip away from me

Looks like it's revegging check your lights and timers.

Also looks like you have mites or thrips.
Yes I did have mites a few weeks ago that’s sorted now, but looks like she’s revegging and flowering under 24 hours light
Poor lady probably stressed and wants to put out some fire

T8 bulb/tube is no way enough to keep a mother

it will prevent falling to flower in the early days

but not later ...like now

as theres just no penetration

I wouldn't use anything less than a 250W Mh or equliv.

good luck

She useually is under a 600 in my veg tent but I got a whole lot drying at the mo and with me being out the country I put her under the t8 with my clones , definitely not enough penetration that’s noticable , does that have an affect on her actual wanting to flower? I always got the impression it was just the light schedule that either kept the plants in a vegitative state or flower state. Always willing to learn
Cheers
