Botrytis turns buds brown during drying?

Trying to see what could cause this. The plants was light green (sativa strain) when chopped down and dried like it always was. Two rooms one had pretty dense buds one didn't. The room with some bud rot had the dense flowers. Both of the rooms with the same strain had the buds turn brown. This person is experience with this plant but this was the first time grown in rockwool when its in Pro Mix normally.

Will Botrytis keep on attacking the buds while drying? I've seen off color buds before kind gray/brown but not as bad as this. Only thing that can be done is its being made into concentrates atm.

No photos but just think of a bud, but instead of green its brown like a chestnut. Also from being explained lots of dust when shaking the buds so I'm guessing a fungus.

You can spray the pirhana product on the buds when they are developing flower to kill that. Once the buds are dense its harder to stop. Are you using Mega-bud in a room with humidity?

It's possible what happened is the pre-flowers die off, and rot inside the bud, because the humidity is high and often temperature as well. When you dry the rot spreads because the waxy cuticle breaks down, which is the living barrier which slows rot.
The dust you are seeing is Botchrytis mold spores.
