I have been thinking about how letting Wes go was a horrible idea. To top it off he goes to Peyton Manning. This will come back to haunt us.
It was unfortunate the two sides couldn't come up with a deal when the #'s were not that far off. They should have signed him to a 3 year deal before franchising him for 9 million...for 1 year. But the Patriot organization runs there team just like what it is, a business. And player agents do the same, making decisions mostly influenced by the mighty dollar. Long ago are the days of Loyalty to both player and team.

IIRC, the Patriots put an arguably better offer on the table (IIRC (again) more guaranteed money, less potential earning through incentives). Welker didn't take it.

Maybe working under Brady, and working with the quarterback coaches in NE will help his technique.
Have you seen him throw? If he hasn't fixed it by now, it's unfixable. FB is really the only position he can stick at because, of the skill position, FB is the most physical. Anyone who thinks Tebow is going to transition to TE (in New England's offense, no less) needs to lay off the crack, IMO.

Gronk's spinal stenosis is a real concern.

Yeah he sucks at throwing. Josh McDaniels saw something in him however , a project maybe, so that's why I think he'll be given ample time to "flower". I don't think he will be used at TE or running back due to Pats depth at both positions.

Stupid Aaron Hernandez; really frigging stupid!
So who thinks he'll be wearing a different uniform this season? I think his new one will be orange, or black and white stripes!

Defintely stupid. But, unless AH is the actual shooter, i'll be shocked if he does any time. I think it's more likely that he'll see Obstruction of Justice charges and plea out of it in exchange for testimony - basically a repeat of the Ray Lewis debacle.

I'm not sure that not letting AH into the workout facility right now is the same thing as saying a permanent goodbye. It may end up that way, but i'd like to think Kraft and Belichik are smart enough to get the full story (or at least more of it than we have now) before making a final decision.
