Breeding Insights Help

I have a breeding project I want to try to work on from F1 breeding stock.

Before I get into details let me say up front this is going to be a completely screwed up and time consuming project from what I have read and that it may take me a life time to complete and most accomplished breeders will say its too time consuming and I should just start with already established genetics instead.

. I am hoping though by getting some breeder insights I can cut down on that time and lock in the traits I want from the F1 progeny and hopefully by a F5 or F6 I can be to a 75% success rate for growing what i want from the seeds. I also realize by F5 or F6 I should be closer to 90% but since my P1's are actually F1's and back crossing is pointless I think 75% in replication is a reasonable and obtainable goal. I should also say I want what is showing in the children not the parents. I can not with 100% certainty know what all the genetics are. Basically I took 10 bag seeds planted them and let them open pollinate. I know the seeds were from 2005 era OG Kush, Sour Diesel, Blue Dream and 2 seeds from some bright green mids. I do not know which was the male or female. I know that it is going to be hard to breed F1 seeds with reliable results but I am willing to sort through a lot of plants to get what I am looking for in the finished product..

I planted 40 seeds and ended up with 4 that I really liked as keepers.

1. Pink Pistils smelled like Country Time Pink Lemonade dry mix in flower and when dried and cured smelled like over ripe fruit (think the sweet smell under an apple tree with the fruit on the ground ripening and rotting) tasted very sweet and fruity.

2. White Pistils smelled, cured and tasted as number 1

3. White Pistils smelled lemon/lime/citrus in flower. Dried and Cured with same smell taste

4. Pink Pistils smelled sweet and floral in flower. Dried and cured smelled and tasted like rosemary or bee's balm.

I am wanting to breed for number 1. My thinking is to grow another 40 and find two pink pistil females with the pink lemonade smell grow them out and pollinate from 2 males that have the pink lemonade smell. I want to pollinate four lower branches (2 for each male) and grow and breed the seeds from each branch separately using open pollination for those plants.

My questions or where I need help is.

1. Is it possible to breed for the pink pistils
2. Is it possible to pollinate a single female with 2 separate males
3. What is the likelihood that the pink pistils are only going to show in the F1 seed and not carry over to F2
4. What is the likelihood of having 75% success for producing the plant #1 above by F5 or F6 if done by using the breeding method above.
5. Would it be best to just open pollinate with one male as opposed to selective pollination of branches with 2 males
6. Should I throw a third female in the mix with white pistils but has the pink lemonade smell in case the pink pistils is recessive
7.When I get to the F3 seeds from the individual branches and start breeding them in open pollination what combination should i use 1 female 2 male.....or 2 female 1 male

I can grow nice healthy herbs with the primo bag seeds I find and I have been doing this and using them for years. My first time making seeds though and I get this pink pistil rotten apple smelling herb that was so good and different I only want to grow it now. I have not tried to breed yet so I have no experience in this, but I don't mind learning through trial and error. On the other hand if someone has any insights that might save me some error I am all for that too since when these original F1 seeds are gone they are gone for good and I would like to breed for plant #3 from above as well in the future.

Kindve old but look up cubing sounds like something you may want to do little quicker than pheno hunting cousins

it sounds like there is going to be alot of trial and error. with out having the original mother and father.
some genes are recessive and some arnt you have to find out what the original mother and fathers traits were and see what was passed on and what was repressed. its going to be a fun and long adventure good luck keep alot of notes to go back on
