Bubba's Gift outdoors

Has anyone grew this outside...I have been reading up on it for awhile and it seems like a pretty sweet strain....especially for me....I don't like the fact it isn't very mold resistant but it flowers in like 50 days which I love...but in its description from humboldt it says it can be quite challenging to grow outdoors because of the quick flowering time....???...and it say to plant the thing around end if may or june...why...I plant all my plants I want to get huge in like...a week or so from today..then they go outside when weather permits..why would a long veg hurt this plant...I don't understand...the days just continue to get longer from the time they go out until the equinox so what's the big deal...please give me your thoughts

It seems like a really tasty and good smoke...I'm gonna be starting it at the end of the month inside so when it gets to be a beast in September I'm gonna send the pic into humboldt and ask why the hell you need to start it so late

a long veg should be fine. I can't see it fucking with the sex, certainly not the genetics. I'm currently growing it. Hardy strain... in my opinion every HSO seed i put in the ground has been incredibly hardy and strong. I also got bag seeds from Humboldt strains that were crossed with others. They're growing amazingly. I will be using this seed company again.

some strains though, just flower earlier and veg shorter... it shouldnt matter though. put it outside. when she's done she's done.

treat it like a normal indica dom strain and you may be pleasantly surprised.....don't sweat the small things just grow it like a normal outdoor and you will prob be all good

out of atray of 18 -9 different strains only 2 that didn't root was bubba? maybe a fluke

Humm..idk much about clones...we're the cuttings from the same plant

That's what I'm saying...I dont think I'll have any issues...I'm a grow a bush outa it...I hope the nugs get super dense like it says...most indica I have grown always does...I love the golf ball shaped nugs

Anyone else have any opinion on this strain outdoors, how bad or easy does it mold?

Biggest....best...most beautify plants I ever grew....i just wish I could of kept the biggest one to get my hardwood floors...fuck

Did you notice any mold before they were stolen

Damn, Hated to hear that. I am currently growing that strain along with a dark devil auto and a few mystery seeds that seem to have purple genetics as all the stems are turning purple on my bag seeds and now that I think about it I remember seeing purple in the nugs I got the seeds out of. Anyways I started my Bubba's gift the end of May beginning of June but not on purpose just to replace my fast and vast that died on me. It has been doing just fine outdoors as that is the only place I grow. It did flower very early had a very short veg period, started showing sex in July and has went into flower now, Mine did not get very tall at all it's short and bushy, maybe one foot in height and about a foot wide, I did top it one time. It is mainlined I think is what they call it. Good looking plant so far. Looks like it will be the end of september, early october harvest for that one.
