Kinda bias to Matt Ritze, aintcha'?
Just happened to work out that way, the link about vegan organics is important and I could have found a thread by Nikka T perhaps...but I didn't.

What you put into your plants is what you'll get out of your extracts. That's just a good rule of thumb...

And if you want to play favorites, I actually tend to lean more toward Bubbleman.

Dry Sift = pure heady goodness. Nothing can compare...

Perhaps in the future I'll compile all the links I have on Iso/Ethanol extracts and BHO. Winterization is pretty important and overlooked by a lot of people.

Winterization removes unwanted waxes and fats/lipids from the extract. Winterization of QWISO can be done by dissolving the QWISO extract in a hot bath of AT LEAST 151 proof grain alcohol/ethanol (Everclear for example) and placing the mixture in the freezer - once it's cool enough - for 48 hours. After the 48 hours a thin layer of fats and waxes will form on top, this is what you want to discard. Evaporate the rest of the solution with very low heat and you'll be left with a winterized extract. Grain alcohol will traces of sugar residue behind when it evaporates.

You don't really winterize qwISO though with a grain alcohol.. They are both polar solvents so they wouldn't really be doing much. You would be winterizing non polar solvents like butane with a grain alcohol or even ISO.

For sure.

Though, I've heard many people say redissolving ISO extract in ethanol does clean it up considerably.

I have dewaxed a qwet extraction and did get the white precipitation. I did this directly after extraction.

Dunno why but the absolute cleanest extraction I have done was a super quick wash with ultra resi analyzed lab grade acetone popped in freezer directly after extraction. Not advised, extreme purge required.
