Bubbleponics/DWC top fed seedling issue HELP

It might just be my imagination, its difficult to tell without being there. New growth is usually a bit lighter. If it stays really light as it grows out, then you know there's a problem. There's no sense changing anything, just keep that hydroten wet :)

Yeah that second could be a dud we've got to remember that. Every now and then, when you're popping seeds, you get a real bitch that's never happy no mater what you do. You just grow it out as best you can, but you don't bother cloning it.

Yeah that second could be a dud we've got to remember that. Every now and then, when you're popping seeds, you get a real bitch that's never happy no mater what you do. You just grow it out as best you can, but you don't bother cloning it.

That's what I'm gonna do. I hope they both thrive because I'm still hoping ones a female lol... So stressful. Next time I'm going with a easy strain that's feminized.

I can see roots almost near the bottom of the netpot. I'm almost certain that they are being fed as of now from the resivior. Hoping to see some major growth here soon :bigjoint::hump::hug:

Is the lightness of color on the leaves something to be concerned about(3rd pic) Seems like it might be slightly missing something. Also I've been doing a bunch of research and would it be possible that my deformed plant is from a calcium deficiency? I don't know if adding more with solve anything because the other plant seems to be doing okay other then the little bit of light color. Even my seedling that I removed from the rockwool seems to be progressing pretty good. I don't know, I'm just looking for input :bigjoint:image.jpeg image.jpeg image.jpeg

Should I continue top feeding since the roots are touching the water or getting water from the water bubbling?

I personally stopped top feeding after raising the water level so the bubbles could reach the bottom of the netpot. Since then, roots have touched the water and the growth has taken off. Didn't seem like hand watering was necessary

Ok the 3rd picture that plant has been deformed since day one but the fourth pictures new growth looks to be coming in deformed... my ph hasn't moved from 5.9-6.0 my water temp is at 64F. Could it be a cal-mag deficiency? Also my 400W Mh is set to 50% when should I turn that up? It's about 18" from the plants and the one looks like it's stretching... should I move it closer? You still at 290ppm with 90ppm tap?

Also what brand meter are you using to measure this?

Its weird cause you shouldnt be having issues at that feed. It looks like a nutrient imbalance.

I had something similar with the yellow tips and light green interveinal chlorosis that looked like Mg def.

Turns out I had too much magnesium in my mix that was bringing my Ca:Mg 1:1 and once I brought my K:Ca:Mg ratio back to 4:2:1 I didnt have issues (this is very similar to lucas formula). I also may have been feeding them too much, but hard to tell since I fed less and changed my ratio at the same time.

Since ive had those yellow tips on hungry plants im going to say it was mostly the ratio change.

I'm using a 20$ meter off amazon but I've calibrated it recently with the solution they gave me. I'm at 250ppm give or take and 100-120 is my water/ph down. I measured my mutes with a 1/4 teaspzoom but plan on using a ML syringe next time... idk I'm lost maybe I just need to let them ride a little bc they're adjusting to being in the water now

I did lower my light slightly but that is all.

250 PPM is low in my opinion, i start with 90 PPM water and add nutes till total PPM is 350, also i use recharge which adds 50 more so total PPM is around 400 just change the water (if it has not been changed for more than 10 days) and add fresh nutes.

I'm going to tomorrow, I'm at 385 total ppm but I'm gonna bump it to 450 when I switch the water out... they've dropped a bunch of roots and seem to be doing good so far.

By now you should be at 400-450 ppm on the nutes alone, plus the ph corrected start ppm water... I say this not being able to see any pics on the entire thread.....
