bubbleponics/earthbox question

I have an earthbox my dad use to use for his tomatoes and I was wondering.....

The box size is roughly 1 x 2

Would a 150watt hps, and a set of 4ft warm whites been sufficient light for two plants?

In the earthbox is has an aeration screen that seperates the soil from the reservoir, My question is if I used the earthbox could I put airstones in the bottom of the of the box and add a few drip lines to make a somewhat dwc/ebb and flow system? If possible would i benefit from using hydroton or a soil mixture?

i was wondering the same thing. i actually have a grow going right now using an earth box. i have an airstone in the bottom of the resevoir. i have a soil mixture on top though. i think hydroton would work really well though. im going to do it for my next grow.

:leaf:I'm on my 3rd indoor grow with 150w CFL's, in the resevoir's I have two (2) 6 inch bubble stones (WalMart) with one having the EB mix and the other with a ProMix w/Guano (Ace Hardware).
3 weeks veg(18/6) and 1 week so far (12/12) Not happy with my light arrangement but so far the yields have been sufficient for my use.
Next crop will be a combo EB & BubblePonics with some Nirvana AK-48 or Medussa.

BTW: Brick weed this time, last two crops were PineApple Haze Clones that kicked!
