Bud Candy/Monster Bloom other additives worth the $$$$?

anyone use any additives during flowering in conjunction with their bloom nutrients?
I'll name a few name brands
Bud Candy, Monster bloom (pink crystals), Vodoo juice, overdrive fertilizer, Bud ignitor
Also what differences do you notice using and without.

No, not worth the money.. Molasses is a much cheaper alternative. Don't believe the hype, don't be a sucka.

Im doing DWC so itll be hard using molasses, seems like itll promote bacteria.

Dont use molasses in hydro. Just use base nutes, and calmag.

My bad, assumed soil.

I run the CX line in my system and use a few other boosters and see the difference when I change or stop using them. It's something that takes time to figure out which is best for your style, location, nutes, strain and lighting. I run the same strains so it was easy for me to do comparison's.

Thanks for the replies. Im going to add cal/mag to my nutes see if there is a difference.

You might want to chill on the cal-mag if you're using tap water. RO on the other hand...

Anyone using BudCandy or any others currently ?

Waste of money all you need is a good complete 2 part veg and bloom, complete veg and bloom 1 part pkwder like hydroponic research or 3 part veg bloom and micro nutes to feed your plants all they need for a good harvest. The rest comes down to environment conditions, lighting and strain.

Bud Candy is a waste of money, didn't see any difference in my plants.

Ima look into pkpowder

I use maxibloom from start to finish. The only additive is between week 2 up to week 6 in bloom I use sonic bloom.

i'm trying this in dwc b/c i have it and theirs no organics in it

I've used mono-potassium phosphate several times with minimal differences, also sold as MOAB bloom booster.
Did I see a swell? Yes, but I believe that more to be attributed to the fact that when you are typically adding these in week 6-7 as you are approaching or into the swell stage regardless. No unusual or breathtaking swell lol.

I've seen much better gains by cutting the N at the right time while providing an otherwise balanced feed until the flush.
These are results from my sunshine #4 patch, I'm getting ready to apply these findings to my DWC plants and see how it goes.

I'm a firm believer in having a solid base nutrient above all else.

veg too? care to share a weekly veg to bloom cycle with ppm and how much you use?

Yeah maxibloom has plenty of N for the plants full life cycle. So it can be use to veg a plant.

Strains are all diff. Some burn @ 700 ppm while others you can bump up to 1500 ppm.As a general rule of thumb. New veg I start out at 300 ppm. and bump up until I get no ppm. drift.3rd week of veg ,I can normally go between 5-600 ppm. and change out nutes again night before flower start at 500-600 and bump up as needed.change out rez 1st night 3rd week set at 600 ppm add 1 teaspoon sonic bloom/5gal. bump up if needed. I will run that for 3 weeks last 3 I cut maxi down back to 5-600 ppm. with 1/2 strenth sonic bloom. I run 50/50 ro water/tap. no calmag.

about the same here i use rain water and tap some distilled during cloning and early veg stages. My flower room is at 1050 no nute burn, like u said strain dependent.

You can add liquid budswel to your hydro setup. Use the yellow label 30ml per gallon. It's .01-.10-.01 organics made for a boost in flower. It won't affect your ppm, pH or contaminate your rez or cause a bacterial bloom. It works well in coco with every feeding.
