it smells/smokes great. it's just that most of my strains dry to a darker golden brown color. This is chernobyl btw. Actually, I used to have another chernobyl lemon pheno that was really light green.

hmm maybe that's it? I don't dry my buds in a dark room but in an airy room that gets indirect sunlight. They cure in the dark though

You wont have that color problem if you dry and cure in the right conditions. Dark and dry amd cool. Not too cold because the cold can cause moisture and freeze the moisture then youll end up with mold. But you want to make sure all is big leafed before drying once dry buck it down and get ready for trimming. Once trimmed place in your turkey bags with some oxygen eater packets and place in a black tote and close tight. Your weed will last and stay fresh and green or purple, even after a year. When the nuggets turn brown its from being oxygenated and exposure to light

[/You really don't want green buds. They look pretty, but chlorophyll doesn't taste that good, and it can be harsh. You want those pretty green buds to cure into pretty brownish gold buds. Back in the 70's early 80's, all weed was either brownish or goldish . Thai Stick was always brownish gold. If ya think about it, the trichome production/preservation is what it's all about anywho . The moral of this story is...roll a joint, and take a few puffs. Green, brown, purple, yellow if it's good it's good !!! Later QUOTE]

You can definitely have strains that keep a real green color throughout their growth. Even after the cure. It's a lime green too. I've always liked those phenos !! Later
