So this is my first grow journal not sure how exactly to start this out. Here are the details. Plants put in soil on 8/23 as germinated seedlings. The soil is a mix of some cheap good draining soil from the dollar store and MG potting soil. For nutes I will be using MG and Molasses. The plants seem to be growing ok so far. I think I over-watered them in the beginning because the MG soil holds water more than I thought. I have not watered them since but they just arent drying out. Any helpful hints? Also will the MG nutes and molasses be enough to carry these plants through veg stage? Oh yes and the plants stay outdoors during daylight hours and in a grow box with 2 25W 2000 lumens CFL's and 2 14W CFL's Plus one 18" dual bulb Flourescent. Do I need more light in the box eventhough they are outside during the day? OK AND WITHOUT FURTHER ADUEX ON TO THE PICS~!~:blsmoke: So how do these babies look? Are they looking about right for five days since they hit the soil? Is there any nutes or other addatives that I can use to stimulate extra root growth? Sorry for the horrible picture quality I took them with my phone since the touchscreen on my Sony Digi broke and I had to send it back to be fixed!

more light is better but what u got works. u shouldn't be using mg ferts or soil while they are so young could slow growth. after two weeks i would move to bigger pot.

I have not been using any nutes yet I was just stating what I have waitin g to be used. When should I startt adding nutes? I hope this soil dries out quicker than it is. If it stays this wet it will stunt root growth right?

How do I make sure that I am not bringing bugs into the grow box? Any particular kind of spray or just any pesticide for plants?

Garlic cloves. And water. crush it up, put it in a spray bottle, and spray the plant. Garlic doesn't hurt the plant, or the bugs, it just gets them away.

Ok been a while since I updated. Here it is. Plants are looking really great and starting to really pop! I figured out that I had overwatered my babies so last night I transplanted them into newer better soil and bigger pots. I used some Vigoro root stimulator/transplanting solution before putting them into their new pots. When I transplanted the root systems were still a little on the small side but were very white and healthy looking (no root rot) So my question now is If I add some H2O2 solution to them now will that hellp pump the roots up some to make up for the previous over watering? By the way here are some new pics from about 3 days ago. I will have pics from today up in just a few hours! THANX IN ADVANCE FOR ANY HELP YALL CAN GIVE!!:blsmoke::peace:

Sorry I have been so busy lately with the shop and taking care of my babies. Not to mention that the snakes had to eat this weekend. But anywho here are the most recent pics of the babies. They are now 26 days old and still in veg mode. Is this tooo long? How long should veg be on bagseeds under CFL's? Also There are plenty of healthy green leaves on my plant but the older bigger fan leaves keep getting what lookjs like nute burn then they slowly die until I cut them off when they look close to death. Is this normal? Should I cut them off earlier? Anyone know what this could be? Well here is what you have all been waiting on. THE PICS!!

This is one of the 3 small babies sorry I have no pics of the other 2

This is the second largest of the five of them

This is my most prized the biggest and most beautiful of the bunch. I really hope she is a she and not a he! LOL! The rest of the pics are all of her.

Sorry I don't know anything about yellowing leaves but my plants leaves are getting yellow spots and seem to be spreading, I'm wondering if yellow spots or yellowing could be from under watering since the plants that are getting the yellow spots has got less water, I'm also thinking it could go both ways, yellowing leaves could be from over or under feeding?

Yes the yellowing could be over or under fertalizing. It could also be bugs or nute lock or root bound!? I guess it could be alot of things. Mine is weird however because it is just the lower branches and it doesn't seem to be spreading it just stays about the same. Grrrr!~

Well I am both topping and LSTing my plants they are now a month old and I just moved them into their new growing area. It is a 3x3 closet and I am lighting them with a 400W HPS. They are still in veg mode. How much longer should they be in veg mode? These are just bag seeeds BTW. Also the room stays hotter now about 79-88 degrees is this bad? They don't seem to be having any adverse reactions I transplanted them the same day that I put them in the new room. I was expecting to see a noticeable growth spurt after repotting and adding better light but I really haven't noticed a huge difference. What do you guys think? Sorry about the quality of the photos I am still waiting to get my camera back! GRRRR!!!

as you may already know, the ph problem is causing lockout which is in return giving you problems with mag which will then give you a cal issue. peace and happy growing
