Buds not growing

forget everything you heard and join the army ROLS in the organic section. If you are gonna grow in a 7 gallon container anyway. I grow with LEDs too, As long as you have 50 watts/ sq ft of canopy you should get great results.

I dont keep track of time to really know what a 4 week plant should look like, but when you grow organically in big pots (7 gallons + ) you should get great yields of the finest marijuana without having to worry whether your buds are filling as they should.

Every strain is different, I have strains that put on their weight in the last 2 weeks, some, early flower than just appear to not grow, simply harvest when your plants are ready, grow organically in big pots, and forget about the rest, harvest when your plants are ready, harvest when your plants are ready, forget about the rest, lol, clear??
One quick question my plant is very large around I guess I didn't train it very well. Every branch and split is covered In flowers. I only ask cause most pics of plants just have one large stalk full of buds. I can give you more pic as well

oh man...
ok, so you need a better light, the health of the plant looks ok, but you NEED a more intense light
I suggest a HID of some sort
that's sorta the issue with leds and cfls, they just don't have a lot of penetration
but if you keep flowering under that light you'll be disappointed in the yield..
like less than a half oz type disappointed
what I'd do is keep whatever light you have for SIDE lighting, and get a 250 or 400 w HID for the primary lighting, that way you still develop those lower nugs

OK on a budget do I need a special set up or can it be done with regular light socket?

regular light setup?
you mean the sockets??
um not really no, they need a ballast
i'd check craigslist for any used grow equipment, past that the only advice I can say is that a budget grow usually disappoints...
gotta spend a lil when you first set things up
inline fan, good reflection, quality LED or HID, cfls can be used too, just need more of them

What about a higher led grow like 1200 wat? Do you think I will get better return with that?

Very green looking, looks like a bit of clawing starting also, I'd back off the nitrogen a bit and add some higher phosphorus and potassium feed and definitely more lights if you have/can afford them. I understand budgets (once the first grow chopped and dried you tend to have a few extra bucks...Cause you buy less meds) but if you can find a good used hid system or led, or even a decent t5 light you can really up those results :peace: good work for the tools you have though

Thank you. I will switch to strait water today. I found a used 750 hid that I will pick up.

Is it completely dark during the dark period? Even a light from a hallway or a computer screen will screw with the flowering cycle night time and slow flowering.
Yes except one night something messed up the time I turn the lights off. That probably stunted the growth.

You have a ballast and everything for it? That's some serious retro lighting man, like old stadium flood lighting isn't it?
Yea it's all included. But yes its like a stadium light. However he has used them for growing. Kinda limited on used equipment in a state like mine. I live in the dark ages.

Sounds like my state. I check craigslist and other classifieds weekly and have yet to find anything worth picking up.

Just checked real quick.. I can get a lamb for just over $200. but no gear.
