c02 tank, regulator, needle valve, bubble counter

I used to grow crazy plants in fish tanks...so I have a solid setup for c02 for aquatic use. Basically it's the tank + regulator, and then you see how much c02 you are pumping through a bubble counter (c02 output goes through some water, so you can count the bubbles).

so right now I have oh maybe 120 bubble a minute going out into a air filter inside my 4'x4'x6' closet. I have the exhaust fan on (I can't really turn it off, it'd get hot quickly)...

The air filter is on the left rear floor, exhaust on right middle top. the air filter blows pretty much straight up, so I figure the c02 gets mixed in with the air and falls onto the plants...maybe?

Has anyone done anything like this...am I just wasting c02 here? Is 120 bubbles a minute way to much, way to little. If this isn't going to work I don't want to bother buying anything else besides tubing if I need to...

advice please?

Most of our regulators work on SCFM, so if you can give me a measurement I can convert to that, I can help you, as would most people I think who are too lazy too tell you that.

Thank you, Tommi002, I don't think I know how to convert that..I could guess, but it would be so inaccurate it would be worthless. I appreciate your help, I can see I'll have to buy a new regulator if I want to pursue this...maybe next grow. Thanks a gain +rep
