Cab Volume for HID system?

I am new so right now I am just gathering information so that I don't make as many noob mistakes as possible. So I was looking at this light setup

I am looking to build a cabinet to do everything in, and so I needed to know a few things.

The page says it is good for 2'x2' to 3'x3' floor space. Would I be able to get away with a 5'x5' cabinet if I made it say 5' or 6' tall? I will be looking at what I need out of fans next, but is this type of light not a good choice for a cabinet? I know I would have to worry about heat, but I have access to a metal fab. shop so I can make modifications to my hood to run an inline through it, and would definitely have supplemental fans running to keep the box cool. All thoughts and opinions are all welcome...

haha...nice! I'll def. take a look around before any money gets invested...it just seemed like a good site to browse around and get a feel for the gear...any other site recommendations? Also, should I just keep the same setback on the perimeter as I keep in between my tomato plants?

I would really recommend buying from multiple sources. HTG has great customer service and this forum in particular has a huge boner for them but their prices are really really high except for maybe their fan/filter combos - but even then they are cheaper on ebay. I've ordered from HTG as well as urbansunshine.com and they are both super friendly and nice. I've also purchased off ebay with great results. Urbansunshine use to have great deals on lumatek ballasts which is what I would recommend but recently their prices have increased a tad - I want to say you can get them cheaper on Amazon now.
