Cabinet Grow

I'm going to have to agree with the others who said to cut some of the shelves. Even micro cabs in PCs and the like are usually a solid 2 feet tall; the pot alone is going to be 8 inches deep at a minimum (and a decent sized one will be bigger) if you want yields that are worth the trouble of growing at all. With less than two feet for your shelves, you're giving the plant maybe 6-8 inches to grow in height, and that's a best case scenario. Even with scrog, you can't train it flush with the top of the pot; you'll still need it to grow a few inches AND you'll have to account for the space the lights need; without LEDs it's likely they'll be too hot for the plants to grow more than a couple inches.

If you can't make it work in the cabinet, save up some cash. You can rig up DIY grow boxes on the cheap (I've seen builds that are barely over 100 bucks and are just fine for growing); if it's stealth you're after then you need to realize stealth doesn't come cheap. Light proofing, smell proofing, and hiding a grow box in something inconspicuous all make it a MUCH costlier effort than just throwing together a cabinet or buying a prefab.
