I didn't know Ca Carbonate buffered better than Ca Nitrate. I grow in coco without adding calmag and never experience any deficiencies. I am using Ca Nitrate for the primary nitrogen source and it is used throughout the entire grow. Since Ca Nitrate has great plant availability that is probably the reason I don't have any issues. That and I keep it as simple as possible.

Your getting significant Ca. from your N source. Nice way to deliver the N and the Ca needs to the plant in Coco.
