calcium deficiency?

Is this a calcium deficiency? The first set of leaves keep getting worse and and there's no new growth like if it's stunted. 20170113_135252.jpg 20170113_135252.jpg 20170113_135315.jpg 20170113_135304.jpg

Looks like your giving it too much of something. DWC needs little cal/mag if any. I run a Current Culture system and I mix 1/4 ml per gallon. And this recent grow I'm in, I don't add any because the nutes I'm running (Aqua Flakes) already has enough cal/mag in it. I have a RO water system that brings my water to 0ppm and when I was adding cal/mag my water would be 20ppms and I never had any problems

I have the water level below the cup so that just the roots dangle in the water, I pH'ed the rockwool when I planted the seed and I adjust the reservoirs water daily at around 6.0. I started it on 1/4 strength butes but I upped it to 1/2 strength 3 days ago

This is not burning or bleaching, It appears to be signs of both calcium and magnesium deficiency. Either you aren't giving it calcium and magnesium, or you just waited too long to start feeding it at the start. I wouldn't feed that tiny plant any more than 1/4 strength anything

What are you feeding, and when did you start?

I'm feeding GH flora series and I started a week after it sprouted

Ok so that was your issue, you waited too long to start feeding your plant and you can see that the lower leaves are all deficient in calcium, magnesium and others. this seems to be quite a common thing with those new to hydro, I've commented on 3 different threads in the last week and all the seedlings looked basically the same.

I think the reason is that people are getting advise about how to start seeds in threads by soil growers. Soil growers don't have to feed for the first few days as there is nutrient and minerals and micros in the soil. In hydro there is nothing in just plain water. Your plant needs a small amount of nutrient as soon as you start to see the first set of true leaves (the next set after the seed leaves). By this time it has used up the nutrient and energy in the seed and needs to take in more via the roots.

Your lower leaves will continue to get worse and worse as your plant gets bigger and they fall off or you remove them. Don't worry though as the top growth looks great and you should see growth pick up now that it is being fed what it needs.
